Athens, Greece

Known as the birthplace of Western civilization, Athens is a vibrant tapestry of history and modernity. Standing sentinel above the city is the famous Acropolis, a fortified hill dominated by the Parthenon, atmospheric ruins of a white marble temple built during the height of the ancient Greek Empire. Wander the charming Plaka district, which hugs the foothill of the Acropolis and is the city’s oldest neighborhood. 

This afternoon, step on board Scenic Eclipse II. Your journey into wonder begins with a warm greeting from the Captain and the crew. Meet your butler and settle into your spacious suite. Sip on a glass of Champagne and explore your luxurious suite, then join your fellow guests at the Sky Bar to toast the start of an unforgettable voyage.

Wake to a coffee delivered to your suite by your butler. Enjoy an early breakfast in the alfresco Yacht Club before exploring Milos, a hidden gem in the Cyclades. Explore some of its 70-plus secluded beaches with crystal-clear water, colorful cliffs and dramatic rock formations. Wander through charming villages adorned with traditional white houses and colorful doors. Delight in fresh seafood at seaside tavernas and savor local delicacies such as the famous cheese pies. Immerse yourself in the island’s rich history and visit ancient sites such as the catacombs and the ancient Roman theatre. 

Balos is one of the most mesmerizing beaches in Greece. Its shallow turquoise waters and pristine white sands are framed by rugged cliffs.

Spend your day soaking up the sun and sea. Explore the nearby medieval fortress, constructed in the 16th century to protect the island from the Turks. 

Scenic Eclipse II will cruise to Chania this afternoon, so you can relax in a cabana on Deck 10 or take a dip in the Vitality Pool while watching the world slip by. Your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht will dock in Chania overnight. 

Chania, the former capital of Crete, boasts a rich history dating back thousands of years, with influences from various civilizations such as Minoan, Venetian, and Ottoman. Its charming maze-like Old Town is known for its picturesque harbor, narrow cobblestone streets, and well-preserved Venetian and Turkish architecture. Spend the day exploring historic landmarks such as the Venetian lighthouse and the Byzantine walls.  

Your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht departs late this evening. Take the time to discover Chania at your own pace before exploring up to 10 all-inclusive dining experiences on board, sampling from fine French cuisine at Lumière to vibrant Asian fusion at Koko’s. 

Santorini is a dreamy destination with whitewashed buildings and azure-domed churches clinging to dramatic cliffs. Lose yourself in the maze-like streets of Fira or Oia, explore ancient ruins in Akrotiri or relax on the black sands of Perissa Beach. The town is built on a caldera (a volcanic depression), and you can stand at its edge for the breathtaking sunset that paints the sky hues of orange and pink.

Return to the ship for dinner with newly made friends or ask your butler for a private meal delivered to your suite before retreating to your supremely comfortable Scenic Slumber Bed.

Start your day with an early session in the gym or some guided stretching in the Pilates studio. After breakfast, explore Bodrum, a glamourous Turkish city with twin bays and the medieval Bodrum Castle. This 4th century fortress was built partly with stones from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Wander through the castle’s winding streets and dive into the vibrant atmosphere of the bazaar, where colorful stalls tout treasures from rugs to spices.

In the evening, Settle in at the spacious Scenic Lounge Bar to enjoy your beverage of choice, whether it be aged whiskey or a glass of wine. With Scenic’s signature all-inclusive ultra-luxury philosophy, indulge in top shelf spirits, over 130 whiskeys, a premium wine list and French champagne.

Welcome to Mykonos, a cosmopolitan island where pristine beaches meet the charm of Cycladic architecture. The island is known for its hedonistic atmosphere; however, it has a more relaxed side to it. Explore the winding streets adorned with whitewashed buildings and vibrant bougainvillea, see its iconic windmills, picturesque churches, and dine in lively waterfront cafes.   
 

This evening, as Scenic Eclipse II departs Mykonos and the twinkling lights of the city disappear, toast to an unforgettable voyage at the Sky Bar on Deck 10. Enjoy a farewell dinner followed by world-class, engaging performances in the state-of-the-art theatre.

Your voyage concludes this morning in Piraeus, from where you’ll be transferred to Athens airport. After one final delicious breakfast on board Scenic Eclipse II, it’s time to disembark your ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht, taking with you a lifetime of memories of this truly unique journey in the Mediterranean.
