Terms & Conditions

We are SWAAT TRAVELS and are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to SWAAT TRAVELS and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement. By registering for, making payment toward, or participating in the SWAAT Saint Lucia Girls Trip, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all terms, conditions, waivers, releases, and policies contained herein.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

Participant understands and agrees that SWAAT Society, SWAAT Travels, Strong Women Advancing Against Turmoil Society (SWAAT), its officers, directors, board members, volunteers, chapter leaders, event hosts, representatives, contractors, affiliates, successors, and assigns are acting solely as trip organizers and facilitators.

Participant agrees to release, waive, discharge, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SWAAT Society, SWAAT Travels, and all related individuals and entities from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, injuries, illnesses, expenses, attorney fees, judgments, costs, or claims arising out of or relating to participation in this trip.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Participant acknowledges that domestic and international travel involves inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken by SWAAT.

Such risks include, but are not limited to:

• Air travel incidents
• Ground transportation incidents
• Excursions and tours
• Swimming and water activities
• Snorkeling and boating
• Hiking and outdoor activities
• Resort activities
• Weather conditions
• Natural disasters
• Food-related illness
• Disease and illness
• Theft or loss of property
• Criminal acts of third parties
• Personal injury
• Disability
• Death

Participant knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with travel and participation in trip activities.

THIRD-PARTY VENDOR DISCLAIMER

SWAAT Travels may coordinate, recommend, arrange, promote, facilitate, or collect payment for services provided by independent third-party vendors.

These vendors may include:

• Airlines
• Hotels and resorts
• Transportation providers
• Excursion operators
• Tour companies
• Restaurants
• Entertainment providers
• Activity vendors

SWAAT Society and SWAAT Travels do not own, operate, manage, supervise, or control any third-party vendor.

Participant understands and agrees that SWAAT shall not be responsible or liable for any acts, omissions, negligence, delays, cancellations, injuries, illnesses, damages, losses, theft, property damage, dissatisfaction, or other occurrences caused by any third-party vendor.

EXCURSION WAIVER

Participation in excursions, tours, transportation services, water activities, nightlife events, beach activities, boat excursions, catamaran cruises, mud baths, volcano tours, hiking tours, snorkeling, and any optional activities is entirely voluntary.

Participant assumes all risks associated with participation in such activities.

Participant agrees that SWAAT shall not be liable for any injury, illness, accident, disability, death, property damage, loss, theft, delay, cancellation, or other occurrence arising from participation in any excursion or activity.

MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION

Participant acknowledges that SWAAT is not responsible for providing medical care or medical insurance.

Participant is solely responsible for all medical expenses, prescriptions, emergency transportation, hospitalization costs, evacuation expenses, and healthcare-related costs incurred during travel.

In the event of a medical emergency, SWAAT may attempt to assist in obtaining medical care but assumes no responsibility for the outcome, quality of care, or associated expenses.

PAYMENT POLICY

All deposits and payments are non-refundable, non-transferable, and final.

No refunds shall be issued for:

• Personal cancellations
• Illness or injury
• Family emergencies
• Missed flights
• Airline schedule changes
• Work conflicts
• Passport issues
• Travel delays
• Weather disruptions
• Government restrictions
• Any circumstance beyond SWAAT's control

ROOMMATE POLICY

Guests selecting double occupancy are responsible for ensuring their selected roommate fulfills all payment obligations.

Should a roommate cancel, fail to pay, or withdraw, the remaining participant may be responsible for any resulting increase in occupancy costs.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Participant acknowledges that SWAAT has recommended the purchase of travel insurance and understands that failure to purchase travel insurance is solely the participant's decision.

MEDIA RELEASE

Participant grants SWAAT Society and SWAAT Travels permission to photograph, videotape, livestream, record, and otherwise capture their image, voice, likeness, and participation during the trip.

Participant authorizes SWAAT to use such materials for marketing, advertising, social media, websites, publications, fundraising, educational purposes, and other lawful purposes without compensation.

CODE OF CONDUCT

SWAAT reserves the right to remove any participant from any activity, excursion, event, or the trip itself for behavior deemed disruptive, unsafe, illegal, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, or detrimental to the experience of other participants.

No refund shall be provided in such circumstances.

FORCE MAJEURE

SWAAT shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, modification, cancellation, loss, or damage resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to hurricanes, storms, acts of God, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, civil unrest, terrorism, transportation interruptions, supplier failures, or natural disasters.

NDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT

Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SWAAT Society, SWAAT Travels, Strong Women Advancing Against Turmoil Society (SWAAT), its officers, directors, board members, volunteers, chapter leaders, representatives, contractors, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, lawsuits, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, judgments, settlements, and attorney fees arising out of or relating to Participant's actions, omissions, negligence, conduct, participation in the trip, participation in excursions, violation of laws, violation of policies, or breach of this agreement.

Participant understands and agrees that SWAAT is acting solely as a trip organizer and facilitator and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, negligence, services, safety standards, or conduct of airlines, hotels, resorts, transportation providers, excursion operators, restaurants, vendors, contractors, or any third-party service provider.

Participant expressly agrees that any participation in travel, excursions, transportation, water activities, nightlife activities, group events, or resort activities is undertaken voluntarily and at Participant's sole risk.

GOVERNING AGREEMENT

By making payment toward this trip, Participant acknowledges that they have carefully read this agreement, fully understand its contents, understand that they are waiving certain legal rights, and voluntarily agree to all terms and conditions contained herein.
