ITINERARY
Depart on a scenic drive south to the Royal Gorge for a unique experience on the spectacular Royal Gorge Route Railroad. Later, travel to Colorado Springs to explore Garden of The Gods, featuring 300-foot towering sandstone rock formations against a backdrop of snowcapped Pikes Peak and brilliant blue skies. Depart Colorado Springs and head south into New Mexico, the “Land of Enchantment,” to the charming city of Santa Fe. Meals: B
Today, begin with a captivating glimpse into the diversity of folk art from around the world. The Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe allows you to explore a vast collection of traditional textiles, ceramics, paintings, and other unique objects that showcase the rich cultural heritage of different regions and communities. We then visit nearby Chimayo, which was founded in the 17th century by Spanish settlers. Enjoy lunch at the Rancho de Chimayo, located in a century-old adobe home, serving some of the best New Mexican cuisine. Visit Santuario De Chimayo and learn about the miraculous healing powers that still attract thousands of pilgrims each year. Return to Santa Fe, where the remainder of your day is at leisure. Leave Santa Fe, stopping to explore the ancient Anasazi Puebloans, their cliff dwellings, and the museum at Bandelier National Monument. Visit the adobe town of Taos for free time to explore. Continue into Colorado for Durango, a town born in the Gold Rush and silver-mining era. Tonight, spend free time browsing the many shops on Main Street or enjoy a cold pint at one of the city’s local breweries. Meal: B
Today, visit Mesa Verde National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Durango for a guided tour of the D&SNG Railway Museum with free time to see the exhibits including an extensive model train layout. Meals:
Board the Durango & Silverton Narrow-Gauge Railroad for a scenic ride through the San Juan National Forest. Continue to Glenwood Springs for an overnight stay at the historic Hotel Colorado. Meals: B
Travel through the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains to historic Georgetown for a scenic ride on the Georgetown Loop Railroad. Continue east to Denver, where your Tour Director will host a special farewell dinner. Wonderful conversation and cuisine make the perfect finale for your vacation. Meals: B, D

ACCOMMODATIONS
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
This active program requires you to be in reasonably good health, free from infectious disease, to be able to load and unload from buses and other modes of transportation independently, and to travel without preventing delay or requiring the assistance of fellow travelers or tour director.
You must have the ability to tolerate potentially varying climates and higher altitudes. Travelers requiring any form of assistance, including travelers with physical disabilities, sight, hearing or mobility impairments, are required to notify Relaxed Escapes prior to booking the tour. We, along with the Tour Operator will review the requirements with you to determine the level of assistance you may need to ensure the tour is suitable for you. If you require mobility and/or health assistance, you must be accompanied by a companion who is capable of, and totally responsible for assisting you at your own expense. Our tour operator will make reasonable efforts to serve travelers with mobility limitations but is not responsible for any denial of services by suppliers or venues we may visit. The Tour Operator's tour managers, tour directors, guides, drivers, or other tour, ot hotel personnel are not able to provide individual services such as assisting with walking, pushing a wheelchair, carrying a buffet food tray, or assisting with getting on or off the motor coach or other vehicles.
While portage service is provided for one (1) checked bag during the tour, you are responsible for retrieving your bag at the airport baggage claim and getting it out to the motor coach waiting for us at the airport. In addition, you are responsible for handling your own carry-on bag throughout the tour.

All cancellations or traveler-requested changes will incur a $55 per person cancellation/ change fee payable to Relaxed Escapes in addition to the tour operator's cancellation fees.
The $250 deposit is non-refundable at 150 days prior to departure. Trip Protection is strongly encouraged. Trip Protection premium is non-refundable.

Relaxed Escapes Travel Consultants is not responsible for penalties or fees associated with canceled bookings for ANY reason. We strongly encourage travelers to buy a travel protection plan to protect their investment. An insurance quote is provided as a part of this registration process.
