Dakar, the vibrant capital, offers a captivating blend of modernity and tradition. Experience luxurious accommodations, pristine beaches, exhilarating water sports, and a thriving nightlife scene. As a major hub for cruise ship travelers, this cosmopolitan city is a gateway to exploration.
Strategically located at the westernmost point of Africa, Senegal is often referred to as the "Gateway to Africa." Its diverse landscapes—ranging from semi-arid grasslands and coastal regions to tropical rainforests—are a testament to its natural beauty. This richness is symbolized by the nation’s iconic baobab tree and its emblematic lion.
Upon arriving at Blaise Diagne International Airport (DSS), you will be transferred to our luxurious 5-star oceanfront hotel. Check-in is available at 3:00 PM.
In the evening, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner at one of Dakar’s top-rated restaurants, featuring live music and dancing. Dinner includes one entrée and one drink.
After the welcome dinner, you will be transported back to our hotel, renowned as one of the finest in Dakar.
This day we will head to Lac Rose (meaning Pink Lake) lies north of the Cap Vert peninsula in Senegal, about 18 miles northeast of Dakar. It is named for its pink waters, caused by Dunaliella salina algae, and is known for its high salt content, reaching up to 40% in some areas.
The lake is separated from the Atlantic Ocean by only a narrow corridor of dunes. The algae produce a red pigment to absorb light, which provides energy to create ATP. The lake’s vibrant color is most evident during the dry season (from November to June).
We will also ride quads along the beautiful beach and have lunch.

This trip is NOT for you if:
♦ You love to complain and lack patience. Traffic and weather can be unpredictable, and we may need to adjust accordingly.
♦ You dislike minor changes or stepping outside your comfort zone, especially in countries where U.S. standards aren't always available.
♦ You are often late and dislike some early mornings. If you're late every morning, you may be left behind.
♦ You don’t enjoy being around others and feel entitled to disrespect people because "that's just how you are."
♦ You feel you don’t need to respect other cultures or religions.
Drama and pettiness is not welcome on our trips. We promote only positivity, brotherhood, and sisterhood in our community.
