On January 12, 2021, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) expanded the requirements for a negative COVID-19 test to all air passengers entering the United States.
In addition to our safety measures already in place, and effective January 26th, our guests will now be able to take the COVID-19 antigen test on site, before returning to the U.S. at no additional cost for all adults and children. This service is available at all our resorts in Mexico (except RIU Plaza Guadalajara Hotel), Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Playa Blanca, Bahamas and Aruba and will be provided by an accredited medical testing lab that complies with the requirements of the CDC.
Test results will be received within 72 hours prior to departure as required by the CDC, in written and/or electronic format. Guests should contact the Front Desk / Customer Service at each resort upon arrival to schedule departure testing.
In the unlikely event that a guest has been tested positive to COVID-19 during their stay, Riu Hotels will provide an extension at no cost of up to 10 days. Extended stay due to quarantine includes the guest plus travel companions sharing the same room. This policy is valid until the regulations regarding this new requirement change.
JAMAICA COVID GUIDELINESAlong with an approved Travel Authorization form prior to boarding a flight to Jamaica, ALL travelers ages 12 and up regardless of nationality, are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 Antigen or molecular (PCR, NAA, RNA) test performed by an accredited lab for which the sample was collected within 3 days of the travel date. Know that we are well-equipped to accommodate on-island testing prior to your return flight, as well.
Fully vaccinated travelers staying outside the resilient corridors who have a negative PCR test taken within 3 days of departure to Jamaica will not be required to quarantine on arrival.
Travel Authorization applications must be submitted within seven (7) days of the intended travel date.

RATES AND SPACE ARE LIMITED TO AVAILIBILITY
A Passport is required for this trip. Your passport must be valid 6 months after the return date for any international travel. Please register in your Full Legal Name as it appears on your Passport. Rates are not guaranteed until your deposit payment is received. The deposit payment per guest(s) will hold your room at the quoted rate. Room rates are based on the total occupancy (Single/Double/Triple). If Double or Triple Occupancy is selected as your package, each guest must pay their deposit payment within 24 hours of the first initial traveler deposit payment has been received. If not, the total package price will be adjusted to number of travelers who paid their deposit. Please adhere to the Payment Schedule Selected. It’s important that you adhere to final payment deadline. Diamond Starlight Travel does not send out monthly notifications. You are responsible for keeping up with your payments and making payments on time. Not paying your invoice on time according to the final payment deadline will cause room cancellation for every guest in room and may cause you to loose add ons within your package. All guest(s) on the reservation must be up to date with their payments. Please notify email Diamond Starlight Travel of a cancellation in writing 48 hours before final payment. If cancellation occurs and the occupancy of the room falls below the initial occupancy, payments must be paid to satisfy the adjusted room rate. Any new guest added to reservation will have to make all scheduled payments up to date. The Hotel will require you to present a valid Passport, credit or debit card at check-in. The card is required for any mandatory fee as well as any additional hotel incidental charges such as spa services or phone calls which are not included in the room rate. Room assignment is at the Hotel discretion and can change at any time. Airfare is not included. Please contact Diamond Starlight Travel to book separate. If booked directly with air transportation, please email itinerary to Diamond Starlight Travel to schedule your included airport transportation. Your Itinerary and Confirmation email will go out 2 weeks before your arrival date. Transportation services are only for guest flying into Cancun International Airport must provide their flight itineraries to Diamond Starlight Travel before May 9, 2022 If we don't receive it by then, travelers will be responsible for their own transfers. Travel Insurance is not included. We strongly recommend you protect your investment. Each guest is responsible for purchasing their own Travel Insurance. We are not responsible for any flight changes, delays or cancellations beyond our control. Diamond Starlight Travel shall not be liable, for any personal injury, property damage, inconvenience, loss of time, or any other loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising out of any act, omission or negligence of any direct air carrier, motor coach company, hotel or any other person rendering any service or providing any accommodation or event in conjunction with the travel package. Diamond Starlight Travel shall not be liable, for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, sustained as a result of theft, accident, mechanical breakdown, Government action (Deployment), weather, act of God, failure to make timely payments, or any other reason beyond Diamond Starlight Travel control. We reserve the right to make any changes to the hotel/resort, vendors, tours/excursions, itinerary and/or entertainment lineup.
