Day 1

Depart your group's location in a spacious, video and restroom equipped Motorcoach as you head for your destination: the exciting Mississippi Gulf Coast! Tonight, check into an en route hotel for a good night's rest.

Day 2

After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will continue to head towards your destination. Once there, you will check into a beautiful Casino Hotel where you will stay for three nights. Today, you will spend some free time exploring the Resort and do a little gaming. Then, you will depart for a visit to a GULF COAST CASINO in Biloxi. This evening, enjoy a relaxing Dinner.

Day 3

Enjoy a Deluxe Continental Breakfast before departing for a GUIDED TOUR OF BAY ST. LOUIS, home to numerous landmarks on the National Register of Historic Places. See the historic Bay St. Louis Depot and St. Rose De Lima Church. Spend some time shopping in the historic Old Town Main Street, where you will find everything from local art, antiques, and exquisite jewelry. Discover a hidden treasure on the Mississippi Gulf Coast in this quaint historic town. Then, you'll enjoy Dinner and visit a Second GULF COAST CASINO, with more gaming of your choice.

Day 4

Enjoy a Deluxe Continental Breakfast, then depart for MARDI GRAS WORLD in New Orleans! Learn about the history of Mardi Gras, watch artists at work and enjoy a slice of the famous King Cake! Next, you will head to Riverwalk, which features over 75 retailers and restaurants on the majestic Mississippi River. Later, you will go on a relaxing RIVERBOAT CRUISE on the Mississippi River. Wind down as you set sail and explore the Mississippi River. This evening, you will enjoy Dinner at a local restaurant and some free time in the French Quarter of New Orleans before returning to your casino hotel.

Day 5

Enjoy a Deluxe Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Jackson, MS. Journey back in time as you learn how agriculture and forestry molded the history and heritage of this great State. This evening, relax at your en route hotel.

Day 6

Today after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home… a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun you had and where your next group trip will take you!

Guided Tour of Bay St. Louis 
This is a beautiful waterside area. French Canadian explorers Pierre le Moyne Iberrville and Jean Baptiste le Moyne Bienville sailed into this shallow bay April 12, 1699, claiming the territory for King Louis XIV of France. On August 25, the feast day of St. Louis (Louis IX), Bienville returned, stepped foot on the land and gave it its present name. Visitors have continued to come here for more than 300 years and been greeted with the same exceptional shopping and hospitality.

The history of Kern Studios, an operating workshop that has created floats for Mardi Gras and other parades around the world since 1947, dates back to when artist Blaine Kern painted a mural in his local hospital to pay for his mother’s medical bills. The mural caught the eye of a surgeon who was the captain of a Mardi Gras krewe, and he invited Kern to design and build floats for him. One float led to the next, and in 1947, Blaine Kern opened Kern Studios. Over the years, Kern has become one of the city’s leading parade designers and builders, working for Rex, Zulu, and other legendary krewes. Kern Studios opened Mardi Gras World in 1984, offering a firsthand look at what they do. Located on the East Bank of the Mississippi River, today Mardi Gras World is one of New Orleans’ top attractions, welcoming over 150,000 visitors from around the world each year. It has been featured on the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, the Food Network, HGTV, and in several films.
   

The Mardi Gras World Tour lasts approximately one and a half to two hours. Mardi Gras World is ADA compliant. Bring your camera. There will be exciting photo opportunities in front of floats, with props, or wearing traditional Mardi Gras costumes.

 Cruise on the Mississippi River
Experience the Mississippi River on the Creole Queen cruise as part of this group bus trip. The Creole Queen was constructed in Moss Point, Mississippi, and set sail for the first time in October of 1983. Powered by a contemporary fuel-efficient GE diesel-electric system, the Creole Queen is one of a kind. Authentic wrought iron trims on the outer decks and Victorian-style draperies, soft period lighting, wooden parquet dance floors, and Louisiana Cypress bars within are reminiscent of the past, yet with modern amenities, there is no lack of comfort. Set sail on the historic Creole Queen and explore the Mississippi River.
