Oceania Cruises requires all cancellations to be submitted in writing and received no later than the day before cancellation penalties take effect. Refunds and penalties are based on how far in advance the cancellation is made, with penalties increasing as the departure date approaches and reaching up to 100% of the cruise fare if canceled too close to sailing. Certain ancillary services, such as pre- or post-cruise hotels, overland tours, shore excursions, private transfers, and ticketed airfare, may carry stricter cancellation deadlines and may become fully non-refundable within shorter windows. All details, deadlines, and refund policies are governed by Oceania’s official Guest Ticket Contract and Terms & Conditions, which serve as the legally binding agreement between the guest and the cruise line.
