Where Are We Staying? 
 
Sandals Royal Curaçao is the newest resort in the Sandals collection and is the brand’s first property in Curaçao. Located on the island’s beautiful western coast, it offers an all-inclusive, adults-only luxury experience, perfect for a destination wedding or a tropical getaway. The resort was formerly the Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort, which opened in 2010 as the Hyatt Regency Curaçao. Sandals Resorts bought the property and spent renovated and re-opened in 2022. The resort has 351 rooms and suites, two marinas, access to an 18-hole golf course, and 70 dive sites. It also features the Duchess Sandals first floating restaurant and bar, 3 oceanfront wedding venues, a red lane spa, and expansive pools on 44 acres of the Santa Barabra private estate.

  1. Q: Are men allowed to come on the trip?  Yes, this is a Co-ed trip 
  2. Do you need your passport to book? No, as long as you have your passport before departure. Please apply by May 1, 2025, no later
  3. Is the bedding guaranteed? Beds are requested but not guaranteed as the resort reserves the right to make changes based on availability; 1 King bed or two queen beds are subject to availability at check-in time.
  4. Does my roommate and I have to make payments on the same invoice? No. If you want to be on separate invoices, book a single reservation and message me to advise of your roommate's name. I will merge the reservations to update the double occupancy rate.
  5. What airport do we fly into? Curaçao International Airport (CUR), also known as Hato International Airport
  6. Is cancellation for any reason travel insurance recommended? Yes, protect your investment.
  7. Is this adults-only? Yes
  8. Why are we using a travel agent? To create a smooth process for the bridal party and guests entering Curacao. The travel specialist will be sure to diligently work with each guest to prepare for entrance into Curaçao
  9. What if I want to book without the travel specialist? If a guest decides to book individually, this will limit the discounted rate the wedding group has, and the travel agent reserves the right to withhold service to patrons not booking directly with Reward Your Travel, including attending group dinners, happy hours, activities, etc.
  10. Can the payment plan be flexible? Yes, prior to paying your deposit text the travel specialist to inquire about new dates. The only date that cannot be changed is the remaining balance date

Don't Want to Select Travel Protection? 
 
Understand that if you don't, your trip may not be refundable, and you may not be protected in an emergency. 
If you decline or do not select a travel protection plan, you agree by signature once your deposit is paid that you understand that if you are forced to cancel or interrupt your trip, you may forfeit any monies paid. If not added through the booking page, you will have up to 7 days to advise the travel specialist. If not selected, this will result in immediate declination after seven days.

Groups are required to adhere to a payment plan. If the schedule below does not work, please advise the travel specialist to make accommodations.

Rates are based on double room occupancy for up to 5 nights with a 3-night minimum, and we are encouraged to keep rates low and affordable so that guests can have a wonderful experience with us. 
If you want a single occupancy room or are interested in a roommate. You must check with the travel specialist before paying your deposit. This is to confirm the availability of your preferred room or potential roommate.

Cancellation policy:

I NEED TO CANCEL MY BOOKING, IS THERE A PENALTY? (EXCLUDING $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE & NON-TRANSFERRABLE DEPOSIT)
 
  • The cancellation period is subject to the booking date.
 
  • Once your booking is within our cancellation penalty period, the penalty amount will increase as the departure approaches.
 
  • When calculating the days before departure, the day of departure should not be considered as one of the days. The day of departure is regarded as the first day of travel.
 
  • No refunds will be made if you do not attend your reservation or interrupt or cancel your vacation once it has begun.
 
  • Activities and excursions are not included. If you cancel, additional activities may not be refundable/transferable and are not covered under travel protection plan(s)
 
  • More than 4 missed payments may result in the removal of the unpaid guest from the group booking.
 
  • Missing payments will result in automatic cancellation with a warning if they are not communicated to the travel agent with more than 4 follow-up messages.
 
  • Be advised that rates are subject to change if  10 rooms are not booked, as this is considered a group discounted rate. The travel specialist will communicate with all guests if this occurs before any changes are made. 
 
  • Group Cancellation Policy 
    • 91+ days prior to departure: No penalty (excluding deposit)
    • 90 - 75 days prior: 10% of full room revenue is non-refundable 
    • 74 - 55 days prior: 45% of full room revenue is non-refundable
    • 54 - 0 days prior: 100% of full room revenue is non-refundable (includes no-show rooms)

Reward Your Travel Policy:

Reward Your Travel offers a flexible payment system. 
 
Complimentary services and gifts to ALL travel guests booked with Reward Your Travel.
 
For non-group travel, at least 2 payments must be made on each booking. In collaboration with the travel agent, exceptions can be requested.
 
All group travel (10 rooms or more) must make at least 3 minimum payments on each booking. Exceptions can be requested in collaboration with the travel agent.
 
By paying a deposit and booking through Reward Your Travel, you and your guests agree to the above terms and commit to full responsibility for keeping up with your payments. 
 
The travel advisor will reach out up to 4 attempts via; email and/or text related to your booking. If you and/or your guest do not respond or complete payment by the given due date, your trip will be automatically canceled for non-payment and/or non-communication. 
 
If you require assistance with a change in payment due dates, don't hesitate to contact the travel advisor as soon as possible. It is highly recommended that you communicate date changes to avoid vacation interruption. 
 
The final payment due date is the only change that cannot and will not be extended. Be sure to keep up with any final due dates to avoid interruption or cancellation.
