Itinerary:

DAY 1:  Friday, November 10, 2023 - Arrival Cairo

Note: Strict dress code for visiting mosques and churches. Men must wear long pants and shirts with sleeve no tank tops. If you’re wearing sandals or flip-flops you must wear socks.  (No bare feet). Similarly, women must be modestly dressed, no see-through clothes, bare shoulders.

DAY 2:  Saturday, November 11, 2023, Cairo Sightseeing

Meet your English-speaking Egyptologist at the lobby of the hotel to start your tour.

Today you will take an unforgettable tour of the great Pyramids of Giza. The only present day survivors of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, they are among the world’s greatest tourist attractions and never lose their ability to inspire and overwhelm visitors.

Sphinx: Carved from the bedrock of the Giza plateau, the Sphinx is truly a mysterious marvel from the days of ancient Egypt. The body of a lion with the head of a king or God, the sphinx has come to symbolize strength and wisdom. Enter the temple of the mysterious Sphinx, an ancient figure shrouded in legend and mystery. Your Egyptologist will enthrall you with the tales told of this fascinating figure.

Egyptian Museum:  Established by the Egyptian government in 1835. The present museum building was built in 1900, in the new classical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon. The museum exhibited collections now exceed 120,000 objects ranges from pre-historic era to the Greco Roman period. It has 107 halls, and the ground floor houses huge statues. The upper floor houses small statues, jewels, Tutankhamen treasures and the mummies.

Transfer back to Cairo.

Khan El-Khalili Bazaar: Proceed to take a brief tour of the fascinating Khan El-Khalili Bazaar – the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Originally founded as a watering stop for caravanserai in the 14^th century, the bazaar has now grown to vast proportions. Through the narrow streets you will find workshops and stalls selling all manner of things from woodwork, glassware and leather goods to perfumes, fabrics and Pharaonic curiosities.

Custom Tour Included:  Evening dinner on board the Nile cruise, sailing for two hours with oriental entertainments (Belly dancing and Tanoura Show)

DAY 3: Sunday, November 12, Cairo – Alexandria

Upon arrival. proceed to Alexandria Sightseeing to include the catacombs of Kom Al Shukafa, The Pompey’s Pillar and the Roman Amphitheatre.

Following, enjoy a photo stop from outside at Qaitbay Citadel and Alexandria Library.

Overnight stay in Alexandria.

DAY 4: Monday, November 13, Alexandria – Sharm El Sheikh (by flight)

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check in.

Overnight stay in Sharm El Sheikh.

Meals:  Breakfast and Dinner

DAY 5: Tuesday, November 14, 2023, Sharm El Sheikh

After breakfast enjoy a day of leisure at the hotel, sandy beaches, the red sea, etc.

Optional Tour:  St. Catherine Monastery and Mountain Sinai

Stay in Sharm El Sheikh

Meals:  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

DAY 6: Wednesday, November 15, 2023, Sharm El Sheikh – Cairo (Domestic Flight)

Lunch will be served at hotel. Checkout then transfer to Sharm El Sheikh airport for flight to Cairo. Upon arrival transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Overnight stay in Cairo.

DAY 7:  Thursday, November 16, 2023 – Departure Day

Payment Details & Deadlines:

Initial Deposit $250 per person paid at registration

Final Registration Date:  November 10, 2022 or Until Sold Out

Second Installment:  1/2 of Balance, March 1, 2023

Final/Remaining Balance Due Date:  June 1, 2023

Cancellation Policy: This trip is 100% non-refundable and non-transferrable.  

Travel insurance is highly recommended.  Cancellation for any other reason will require a claim to be filed through your travel protection.  If the tour operator cancels, refunds will be returned in the form of agency check or travel credit and is at the tour operators discretion.  All cancellation requests must be submitted to info@globalgiftstravel.com.

Travel Document Requirements:

All participants must have a valid United States passport with an expiration date six months pass the date of return.  

Hazardous Material Disclosure:

Federal law forbids the carriage of certain hazardous materials, such as aerosols, fireworks, and flammable liquids, aboard the aircraft. If you do not understand these restrictions, contact your airline or go to http://www.faa.gov/about/initiatives/hazmat_safety.

Travel Insurance:

Travel Insurance IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.   

Travel insurance is NOT included in the trip rate, which makes it an additional cost.

Rates are not guaranteed until your registration payment is received. The registration/deposit payment per guest(s) will hold your room at the quoted rate.

It is important for you to adhere to the monthly payment schedule in order to keep your reservation secure. Not paying on time can result in cancellation or possibly losing items within your chosen package. This applies to EACH guest on the reservation. 

It is solely up to each guest to keep up with the payment due dates and pay them on time. 

It is highly recommended that you choose the ***NEW*** auto-pay option so as to not miss a payment.

You MUST notify Global Gifts Travel of any missed or late payments to avoid automatic cancellation. We ask that you do this in writing, and at your earliest convenience. If no contact has been made within 15 days we will have no choice but to assume you have cancelled your reservation.

The resort may require a credit or debit card at check-in to cover any hotel incidental charges not included in the room rate. 

Room assignments are at the Hotel discretion and can change at any time. Global Gifts Travel can not guarantee room locations but will negotiate room upgrades and/or amenities due to any hotel implemented changes.

Global Gifts Travel will not be responsible for flight changes, delays, or cancellations. These are things beyond our control.

Global Gifts Travel shall not be liable, for any personal injury, property damage, inconvenience, loss of time, or any other loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising out of any act, omission or negligence of any direct air carrier, motor coach company, hotel or any other person rendering any service or providing any accommodation or event in conjunction with the travel package. Global Gifts Travel shall not be liable, for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, sustained as a result of theft, accident, mechanical breakdown, Government action (Deployment), weather, act of God, pandemics, failure to make timely payments, or any other reason that is beyond our control.
