Cancellation Policy
All room deposits are non-refundable regardless if insurance protection is taken or not.
Travel protection will be offered at time of booking and then again 1-2 times prior to departure date. It is up to the guests should they wish to have travel protection to possibly protect their payments beyond the deposit.
CANCELLATION POLICIES: ALL PAYMENTS ARE 100% NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER FINAL PAYMENT UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. Please consider Travel Protection to protect your vacation investment. In the unfortunate incident that a traveler needs to cancel their reservation, cancellation requests must be received in writing and sent to cancellation@designourtravel.com. Upon receipt, we will review and reply with a confirmation of your cancellation. A cancellation confirmation will be provided to the traveler for any potential travel insurance claims they may need to submit.
Change Fees
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: Any changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of the change. If the number of individuals occupying a room changes, the remaining travelers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the change in the per-person occupancy rate. If a traveler makes changes to their reservation, an administrative processing fee of $50 will be assessed in addition to any travel supplier fees/penalties. This processing fee is to cover our time spent processing your reservation change. This fee is per change and will double to $100 for changes made within 30 days of travel. Fee must be paid prior to change being completed by Design Our Travel® LLC.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FLIGHTS
PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHTS UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION FROM OUR AGENCY WITH YOUR RESERVATION NUMBER AND PAID RECEIPT FOR YOUR DEPOSIT. WE HAVE TO CONFIRM YOUR DATES REQUESTED AND MANUALLY SUBMIT YOUR PAYMENT.
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT COMPLETING YOUR RESERVATIONS
- Please enter your legal name(s) EXACTLY as it appears on your valid passport. YOU WILL NEED AN ACTIVE PASSPORT TO TRAVEL. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CURRENT PASSPORT, IT IS HIGHLY ADVISED TO SUBMIT FOR ONE ASAP!
- Your passport number is NOT required to book your room or flight. Please be sure that your name on your airline ticket matches your passport completely. You may leave the passport number and expiration date blank on our form at time of booking, but please do not forget to make sure it's not expired at the time of your trip (must have at least 6 months of "life" left on it from the time you'd return from this trip).
- Please note every field marked with an asterisk (*) is required and you will not be able to submit the form without ALL mandatory (*) fields properly completed. Design Our Travel® LLC is not liable if the information is not entered correctly.
- Submitting information via the reservation form does not automatically confirm your reservation, or charge your credit card. Your dedicated Travel Team will process the reservation/payment & email you a confirmation invoice within 48hrs. Our Business Hours are Monday & Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 5 PM EST, Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 AM - 7 PM EST, and Friday 10:00 AM - 4 PM EST. (Closed on Weekends and Major Holidays). Once your booking form is submitted you will see a Thank You pop-up box confirming your submission.
- It is your responsibility to review the invoice terms and conditions upon receipt to ensure 100% accuracy. Please check thoroughly for any discrepancies or errors. Design Our Travel® LLC is NOT responsible for errors, or any fees associated with necessary changes after 24hrs of receipt.
This reservation form is a secure part of our Customer Relationship Management system and is encrypted with PCI compliance status. Your Safety Is Our Top Priority!
FAQ's
- When is the last day I can book? The deadline to book your room will be August 21st. Keep in mind that the sooner you book the better for pricing and availability. Our pricing is NOT locked in, so the sooner you can book the better.
- Do I have to know who I will be rooming with before I RSVP? Yes! This is a trip that is at an all inclusive resort. Any occupancy changes, name changes, etc will acquire penalty fees by the resort and based on availability. I wish it were as easy as changing someones name on a piece of paper, but with this type of trip, it is not.
- Do you offer assistance booking airfare? We can definitely include air for you or you can book it on your own - whether you are wanting to use flight credits, points, etc...booking on your own gives you the freedom to book how you want. However, we are still able to answer questions about the air options you have and do our best to assist you in the booking process.
- Can we add on extra nights? Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to add on additional nights to your stay. You can email me at sarah@designourtravel.com
- Do you offer payment plans? Yes! Take advantage of our awesome flexible payment plan where you don't have to pay all at once! It's interest-free - just checkmark the box on the invoice asking to have monthly payments. Even if you don't sign up for monthly payments, you will still get a monthly reminder letting you know that if you'd like to make a payment towards your reservation, you can.
- Do you take cash or check for payments? No, Design Our Travel® LLC does not accept cash, checks, or money orders at this time. We do accept credit and debit cards; please keep in mind that some debit cards have a daily limit.
- How will I receive my final travel documents? All travelers will receive a hard copy of their final travel documents via US mail. In addition, all travelers with Design Our Travel® will have a customized electronic itinerary via an app that they will have access to on-the-go.
