Labadee—Royal Caribbean’s private destination located on the northern coast of Haiti—is a little piece of paradise for all.  There’s nowhere quite like Labadee®— where you can chase an adrenaline rush on an alpine coaster one minute, and do some sun soaking the next. All right in the middle of rolling jungles and sparkling beaches. Cruise to Labadee and trek to the mountaintop to catch serious air on the world's longest zip line over water— the Dragon's Breath Flight Line SM. Or climb the only icebergs in the Caribbean at Arawak Aqua Park. If you just want to kick back and relax, grab our signature drink— the Labadoozie— and your own beach bungalow overlooking Nellie’s Beach. Or take a boat ride off Haiti’s shore for Caribbean hues and ocean views. Labadee remains one of the top Caribbean cruise destinations.

 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Question: Do I need a passport?
Answer: It is highly recommends that all guests travel with a passport valid for at least six months beyond completion of travel. This will enhance the debarkation experience as delays may be expected upon return to the United States for those without one. Additionally, this will enable guests to fly from the United States to meet their ship at a foreign port should they miss their scheduled port of embarkation and allow guests who must disembark the ship before their cruise ends due to an emergency to fly back to the United States without significant delays and complications.

Question: I am not a US citizen, can I cruise with Royal Caribbean?
Answer: Absolutely! Non-U.S. Citizens are required to carry a valid, unexpired passport and a Multiple Entry Visa, if applicable. In addition, guests must contact the appropriate embassy or consulate of the countries they will be visiting for specific travel documentation requirements. RCL assumes no responsibility for advising guests of Immigration requirements. On occasion, Non-U.S. Citizens may be asked to surrender their passport at time of check-in. It will be returned upon completion of the immigration inspection at the time of debarkation.

Question: Can I cruise while pregnant?
Answer: Due to limitations of medical care, both on board and in various ports of call, women who have entered or exceeded their 24th week of pregnancy, at any time during the cruise, will not be allowed to board or sail with the ship. Accordingly, I hereby acknowledge and agree that I will not enter my 24th week of pregnancy before or at any time during my cruise. I understand and agree that any pregnant woman who tries to board the vessel, who has or will enter her 24th week of estimated fetal gestational age at any time during the cruise, risks denial of boarding and/or disembarkation without compensation or refund.

Question: Can I bring alcohol on board from home or from a port of call?

Answer: Please note that with the exception of Wine and Champagne, all guests are prohibited from bringing alcohol onboard our ships. If you purchase any alcohol at one of our ports-of-call or in our onboard shops, we will safely store your purchase(s), and either on the final night of the cruise or the morning of debarkation, it will be available for pick up in a designated area. On boarding day, guests may bring onboard two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage.

Question: What if I have a special diet?

Answer: If you have any food allergy or a dietary requirement that requires Kosher meals or gluten-free food product, please notify the travel advisor at the time of booking.

Question: Are any shore excursions included?

Answer: Shore excursions are not included in the base package, however, you may look at some of the featured excursions on the website. This is not an exhaustive list - you can visit  for Royal Caribbean's shore excursions list.

Question: How much luggage can I bring?
Answer: To help you plan, we suggest you limit your luggage to a maximum of one bag per person, if traveling on cruises of 3-5 days duration, and no more than two bags per person, for cruises of 6 days or longer. In addition, you must personally carry-on any boarding documentation (passports, Visas, I.D), valuables, medications and items which require special handling.
