Accra, Ghana

Pack your bags, it's time to go‼️

We’re heading home‼️

ACCRA, GHANA awaits you  🙌🏾

Why Ghana?

    • Ghana, known as the “Gateway to West Africa,” is a land of contrasts. From bustling markets to serene beaches, ancient forts to lush rainforests, this country offers a kaleidoscope of experiences.
    • Our goal today is to equip you with essential information to make your trip smooth and enjoyable.

What to Expect?

    • Warm Hospitality: Ghanaians are renowned for their warmth and friendliness. Prepare to be welcomed with open arms!
    • Cultural Diversity: Ghana boasts over 70 ethnic groups, each contributing to its vibrant cultural tapestry.
    • Historical Sites: Explore the remnants of the transatlantic slave trade, visit the Cape Coast Castle, and immerse yourself in Ghana’s past.
    • Natural Beauty: From the lush Kakum National Park to the golden sands of Busua Beach, Ghana’s landscapes are awe-inspiring.

Practical Tips:

    • Visa and Vaccinations: Ensure you have a valid visa and necessary vaccinations (such as yellow fever).
    • Currency: The Ghanaian cedi (GHS) is the local currency. ATMs are widely available, but very expensive fees. We recommend you exchange currency before departure. Otherwise, bring cash to exchange when you arrive (Preferably $100 Blue bills for the highest exchange rate).
    • Weather: Ghana has a tropical climate. Pack lightweight, breathable clothing and sunscreen.
    • Local Etiquette: A handshake and a smile go a long way. Respect local customs and traditions.

Safety and Health:

    • Ghana is generally safe, but exercise caution in crowded areas and follow travel advisories.
    • Stay hydrated, use insect repellent, and avoid tap water.

Cuisine:

    • Don’t miss out on jollof rice, banku, and fresh seafood. Ghanaian cuisine is a delightful adventure!

  • Travel Insurance
Missing a trip and/or losing the money you paid for your trip can be heartbreaking. Therefore, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect you and your investment in an emergency. Everyone's needs are different, and you can search for the best travel insurance to meet your needs. We also have a third-party option that we recommend upon booking. Should you decide not to cover your trip, we will require that you sign our travel insurance waiver.

  • It is essential that you advise us before booking if you have any disability or pre -existing medical condition which may affect your tours, or if you have any special requirements as a result of any disability or medical condition (including any that which can affect the booking process) so that we can assist you in considering the suitability of the arrangements and/or in making the booking.

  • The price of your itinerary will be based on known costs at the date of issue of the itinerary. All prices we advertise are accurate at the date published, but we reserve the right to make any necessary adjustments to those prices should our vendor's prices change.

  • Entry Requirements:  A Yellow fever vaccination is required to enter Ghana.  The cost is about $200 in the USA, and it can be scheduled at your local health department, local CVS, or Walgreens pharmacy. We recommend taking care of this at least 60 days before the departure date.

  • A Visa is also required to enter Ghana. This process is very tedious and can take months. The cost is $60 - $150, depending on the visa service you select. We recommend completing it at least 90 days before the departure date.

  • Traveling abroad requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Your passport should not expire before July 15, 2026.
