Taubman Museum of Art

Visit the Taubman Museum of Art as part of this group motorocoach vacation package. Located in downtown Roanoke, Virginia, the Taubman Museum of Art began in 1947 as an offshoot of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, with an exhibition in Hotel Roanoke. Since, the Taubman Museum of Art has evolved into an institution for the benefit of the citizens of Virginia’s Blue Ridge.  Housed within an 81,000-square-foot building designed by Los Angeles, California architect Randall Stout, the museum inspires people to look at their world in new ways through art.

Photography for personal use is allowed in the museum’s permanent collection galleries. The use of tripods, flash, and artificial light is not allowed. In addition to its permanent collections, the Taubman Museum of Art regularly features temporary exhibits. Complimentary wheelchairs are available at the front desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

The step-on-guide uses a microphone on the motorcoach to point out the great sights you will see throughout New York City.

One World Observatory

Opened in May 2015, One World Observatory is a three-story observation deck located on floors 100-102 of One World Trade Center, the skyscraper that was built between 2006 and 2014 to replace the Twin Towers. Standing at a height of 1,776 feet to represent the year the Declaration of Independence was signed, this skyscraper is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere and the sixth-tallest in the entire world. Millions of visitors flock to One World Observatory every year to take advantage of the stunning panoramic views it offers.

There is a gift shop as well as a café and bar for you to visit after enjoying the observatory. One World Observatory permits photography and videography, so bring your camera or video camera.

Hershey's Chocolate World

Experience Hershey’s Chocolate World, America’s leading quality chocolate and confectionary manufacturer during a visit to Hershey, Pennsylvania, the sweetest place on earth as part of our Pennsylvania group motorcoach tour. Surrounded by some of America’s most productive dairy farms, Milton S. Hershey, a great humanitarian and philanthropist, opened one of the world’s first modern chocolate factories during the early 1900s. Hershey not only built his chocolate factory but established a town built on chocolate, an attractive place for workers and their families to live, work, and play.

Whether you are looking for gifts and souvenirs or want to stock up on your favorite Hershey’s brand confections and candies, Hershey’s Chocolate World has anything and everything Hershey’s. Shop for Hershey’s themed toys, apparel, collectibles, and colorful tines of chocolate, or even create a special gift at the Hershey’s Kisses Chocolate Experience.

It is important to note that while there are plenty of complimentary attractions to enjoy at Hershey’s Chocolate World, certain attractions require an additional fee.

Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library

Learn about the life and legacy of President Woodrow Wilson at the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library in historic Staunton, Virginia as part of this group motorcoach vacation package. Located at 20 North Coalter Street, the Woodrow Wilson Presidential Library was established so that both scholars and citizens would have a better understanding of what President Thomas Woodrow Wilson achieved throughout his lifetime and of his ideals that continue to impact the world today.

Thomas Woodrow Wilson was born in Staunton, Virginia in December of 1856 to parents Joseph R. Wilson and Janet Woodrow Wilson. Prior to Wilson’s presidency, he was President of Princeton University and the Governor of New Jersey. Woodrow Wilson was sworn into office on March 4, 1913, as the 28th President of the United States and stayed in office until March 4, 1921.  After his presidency, Wilson and his wife Edith retired to an elegant townhouse in the Embassy Row section of Washington DC where just three years later, Woodrow Wilson passed away after suffering from a stroke and other heart-related problems.
