Itinerary:
- Day 1 (Cape Town): Arrive in South Africa’s stunning Mother City, where mountains meet the sea and every view feels like a postcard. Meet your Travel Director & Host and fellow explorers, then unwind and enjoy a relaxed evening in one of the world’s most vibrant cities. Our group will meet for an exciting welcome dinner.
- Day 2 (Table Mountain): Dive into Cape Town’s energy — explore the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood, the historic Castle of Good Hope, and the scenic Company’s Garden. Then ride the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for sweeping ocean and city views that will leave you speechless.
- Day 3 (Free Day to Explore Cape Town): Spend the day your way! Sip your way through the Cape Winelands, take a coastal drive to the Cape of Good Hope, or stroll the beaches and waterfront boutiques. Cape Town is all about adventure at your own pace.
- Day 4 (Johannesburg): Catch a morning flight to Johannesburg, then travel deep into the wild at Mabula Game Reserve. Get ready for your first evening game drive — a taste of the safari magic to come.
- Day 5 (Safari Adventure): Wake to the call of the wild! Join morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big 5—lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. Return to camp for sunset drinks and dinner under the stars.
- Day 6 (Johannesburg): Return to Johannesburg and uncover its vibrant history and resilience. Explore Soweto, discover Nelson Mandela’s legacy, and enjoy a night in South Africa’s lively metropolis.
- Day 7 (Victoria Falls): The journey continues as we fly from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe — one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Check into your lodge, then unwind with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, complete with cocktails and unforgettable views.
- Day 8 (Explore Victoria Falls): Feel the mist, hear the roar, and witness the power of “The Smoke That Thunders.” Enjoy a guided walk through Victoria Falls National Park, then take the afternoon to explore local markets or opt for an optional, once-in-a-lifetime helicopter ride — the breathtaking “Flight of Angels.”
- Day 9 (Free Day in Victoria Falls): This afternoon is yours to tailor with your desired experiences. Browse the Victoria Falls local market for handcrafted keepsakes and a hit of everyday life or take to the skies on a helicopter ride for next-level views over the falls. Later, keep the good vibes rolling with more optional experiences. Drift down the Zambezi on a sunset cruise, keeping watch for hippos, crocodiles and the occasional elephant, or call it a night with the Boma Dinner and Show.
- Day 10 (Farewell Africa): After breakfast, say goodbye to Southern Africa with a heart full of memories and a camera full of magic. Transfer to the airport for your flight home or continue your travels beyond.
* ARRIVAL: Travelers are to arrive into Cape Town International Airport (CPT). Guests should arrive prior to the included Welcome Dinner on the first day of the tour. It is recommended to depart the USA 1-2 days prior to the start of the trip.
* DEPARTURE: Travelers will be driven to the departure airport in Victoria Falls for the included flight to Johannesburg (JNB), where the tour ends. Guests are responsible for the booking and purchasing of all onward flights from O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg. International flights home from O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg should not be scheduled to depart before 7:30 PM.
