Day 1: July 7, 2024

Day 2: July 8, 2024
Sightseeing Tour: North Shore
  •  Capilano Suspension Bridge - Take a walk across the 137 metres (450 feet) long and 70 metres (230 feet) high bridge perched above the Capilano Canyon then stroll along Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges through the evergreens taking you above the forest floor for a squirrel’s eye view of a thriving coastal rainforest. 
  • Grouse Mountain - Take a gondola to the apex of Grouse Mountain, climbing to 4,100 feet above sea level. At the summit, take in the incredible views of Vancouver and the Pacific Ocean.
 Day 3: July 9, 2024

Coach Transfer from Vancouver Hotel to Train Station

 
Vancouver to Kamloops on the Rocky Mountaineer

TTravel from the coastal city of Vancouver to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. On today's journey you will see dramatic changes in scenery, from the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, through forests and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains, to the desert-like environment of the BC Interior. Highlights include the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River.

Breakfast & lunch are included onboard. Your day concludes as the Rocky Mountaineer travels along the shores of Kamloops Lake into Kamloops. Spend the evening exploring the city of Kamloops or relaxing in your hotel room.

Coach Transfer from Kamloops Station to Your Hotel

Upon check-in for your train departure you will receive a boarding pass which will indicate your accommodation in Kamloops or the surrounding area, including Sun Peaks. Your accommodation will be of a moderate standard, but will include all the essential amenities to make your stay comfortable.
 
Day 4: July 10, 2024

Coach Transfer from Your Hotel to Kamloops Station 

Kamloops to Lake Louise
Early this morning, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the train siding from your hotel. Your pick-up times will be provided with your final travel documents.
 
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station to continue your journey east to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Travel across ranchlands, along rocky lakeshores, over high mountain passes and through the remarkable tunnels that form part of the rich rail history of the Canadian Rockies. Highlights include Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven, the climb over Rogers Pass, the Kicking Horse Canyon, the Spiral Tunnels and, the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies.
 
Breakfast and lunch are included onboard. Your expected arrival into Lake Louise is between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.

Lake Louise to Banff
Continue on to your final destination in Banff. Please note you will not disembark the train at Lake Louise. Your expected arrival time in Banff is between 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM.

Your admission to Canadian national parks is included in your package. Your pass is only valid for the number of days that you have booked accommodation in a National Park through Rocky Mountaineer.

This ideal vacation spot is located on Banff Avenue, the main street in the town of Banff. Surrounded by mountains, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. Porterage Included.

Day 5: July 11, 2024

Group Breakfast at Banff Caribou Lodge & Spa
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour and learn about the natural forces that have shaped the appearance of the lakes and streams found in this area of the Rocky Mountains. Highlights include Lake Louise, Yoho National Park, the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake, Natural Bridge and Takakkaw Falls. Lunch at the Emerald Lake Lodge is included.

The Banff Gondola is a spectacular eight-minute gondola ride to the top of Sulphur Mountain for 360-degree views of the Banff townsite and its surrounding mountains.

Discover How the West was Once at Canada’s largest living history museum, Heritage Park Historical Village. This 127-acre attraction is home to the year-round Gasoline Alley Museum and is nestled on the banks of the Glenmore Reservoir with the picturesque backdrop of the majestic Rocky Mountains. Meet friendly townsfolk in full period costume as you stroll down the wooden boardwalks or pop into any number of working shops, businesses or homes.
