Collette's REVISION FEES
A handling fee of $25.00 per transaction will be assessed for any change or revision made to a reservation. A change of departure date within 11 months of departure will be treated as a cancellation, and cancellation charges will apply.
Collette's CANCELLATION CHARGES
Cancellations of confirmed bookings and transfers to new travel dates both result in penalties and fees assessed by travel suppliers. If you need to transfer or cancel for any reason prior to tour departure, the following cancellation fees will be assessed on your land or cruise product. Air is 100% nonrefundable once paid in full. If canceled prior to being paid in full, the following cancellation fees will also apply to air.

- 90 - 16 days prior to departure: 40% of land or cruise price
- 15 - 1 day prior to departure: 75% of land or cruise price
- Day of departure and after: 100% of land or cruise price
- Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended. If you decline, you will have to sign a waiver of release. To purchase insurance we recommend Collette's Travel Protection, TravelGuard or Allianz. Travel insurance must be purchased within 2 weeks of deposit. Proof of purchase will be required.

For Double Occupancy: If a person can no longer attend and can’t receive a refund, then they can possibly file a claim if it’s for a covered reason or if they have cancel for any reason coverage. (Travel insurance is very important!)
- For Double Occupancy: If your roommate cancels, you may be responsible for finding a new roommate or be liable to pay a single supplement fee. If you need to pay a fee, it will be at the discretion of the tour operator. You can file an insurance claim to possible get paid back the incremental cost which may be paid at the discretion of the insurance company if covered in your terms. Day 2: Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Tour Begins
Today you arrive in Dubai, one of the world’s most exciting destinations. The remainder of your day is at leisure to relax or explore
this dynamic and cosmopolitan city independently. As one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is considered
the shopping capital of the Middle East. With its many world-famous man-made structures built in recent years, Dubai is a must-see
destination for any traveler and will surely be an experience you will always remember.
Day 3: Dubai
Today, take a 4x4 vehicle for a light dune drive through the desert.* Later in the morning, stop at a flamingo hide where you’ll see wild flamingos mingle in their sanctuary. Then, visit the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood where a local guide will take you on a walking tour to see the sites. Along the way, stop at the coffee museum before heading to Sheikh Mohammad Cultural Centre of Understanding (SMCCU). While visiting SMCCU, enjoy a cultural Arabic lunch followed by a Q & A session hosted by a local. The rest of the day is yours at leisure. Today breakfast and lunch will be included.
Day 4: Dubai
This morning, visit the Dubai Museum – located in the oldest existing building in Dubai – then head to the Al Shindagha Museum located on the waterfront. After, venture across the creek in a private Abra and visit the Spice and Gold Souk to get a closer look at
local life and culture found in Dubai. This afternoon, take an optional tour to visit Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building. Today breakfast will be included.
Day 5: Dubai - Johannesburg, South Africa

The overall activity level of this extension is a level 2.
This means you can partake in a two-hour walking tour covering up to 2 miles (including
breaks), over a variety of terrains. You can climb two flights of stairs with ease and handle altitudes up to 6,000 feet. While this level is appropriate for travelers that require mobility assistance devices, there could be times when you may have to sit out on some of the included activities.
A Hosted Extension is great for travelers who like to spend full days exploring places on their own by foot or public transportation. A dedicated Tour Manager will not be present during this extension.
Collette reserves the right to cancel this extension if a minimum of 4 passengers is not met to operate.
