Please review and confirm the information below by completing the attached credit card authorization form.  Please be aware that pricing and availability are subject to change until time of booking. 

 

PLEASE REVIEW AND ACCEPT WITHIN TO PURCHASE YOUR TRAVEL BOOKING: 

By reviewing the invoice, you acknowledge and agree:  

 

  • The dates and times are correct. 

  • All the traveler’s names are spelled correctly as per their Government issued Photo ID  

  • You are older than the age of majority (if under the age of majority, this form needs to be completed and authorized by your legal guardian).  

  • Booking cancellation policy: This deposit is non refundable and non transferable.  
    Final Payment- 31 days prior to departure - 50% Penalty
    30-1 Day prior to departure - 80% Penalty
    Day of Departure - 100% Penalty 

 

The above client has been informed of the risks of traveling during a global pandemic by WEST CANADIAN TRAVEL INC. (hereinafter “The Travel Agency”) and has released The Travel Agency and all of it’s partners, suppliers, and subsidiaries, from all the responsibilities and liabilities which include but is not limited to the following:  

1.The Client has read and fully understands the travel restrictions and warnings advised by the Government of Canada at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/health-safety/covid-19-security 

 

2.The Client has read and fully understands the travel advice and advisories for the destination they are travelling to at https://travel.gc.ca/travelling/advisories 

 

3.Responsibilities of The Client:  

a.) Understanding and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the chosen supplier prior to asking the Travel Consultant to book your trip on your behalf. Please review the Terms & Conditions for this travel package online at https://www.avalonwaterways.ca/terms. The Terms & Conditions include details of what you can count on from us, your rights and obligations, and our revision fees and cancellation penalties. Receipt of the non-refundable deposit or payment of the vacation is confirmation that you have reviewed and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. 

b.) Reading and understanding the information provided to you.  Some of this information may be mandatory, such as but not limited to, documentation requirements, airport arrival deadlines for flights, COVID-19 testing requirements, and vaccination information.  

c.) To provide The Travel Agency with the correct information for your trip. This includes but is not limited to: Legal names as per your valid travel documentation, Gender, and Date of Birth.  Suppliers can deny boarding if information is not correct, and incorrect information may not be amended once the trip is booked. The end result of this can include forfeit of funds, and to fully rebook at current rates.  

d.) Reading and understanding your supplier travel documentation at least one week prior to travel.  

e.) Complete all supplier(s) online check-in during the time given.  Always reconfirm all flight departure times before arrival at the airport and keep a close eye on gate numbers as they may change.  Re-confirm pick up times for any transfers booked. Reviewing entry requirements for your destination country and re-entry requirements for returning to Canada. 

 

4.The Client fully understands that they may have difficulty obtaining essential products or services, face strict movement, restrictions and/or quarantine while in, or traveling to or from, the destination, and that consular services may be limited. 

 

5.The Client fully understands that they may be subjected to health screening, health questionnaires, COVID-19 testing, or even quarantine during their travels. The quarantine, if required, would be at a government approved facility at the expense of The Client with no refunds issued for the cost of the trip.  

 

6.The Client understands that commercial airspace closures and movement restrictions can occur without warning and could prevent your return to Canada.  

 

7.The Client has read, understands, and agrees to the booking terms and conditions of the travel supplier as per their website, including the change and cancellation policy and fees.  

 

8.The Client agrees that they may be required to self-isolate for 14 days upon return to Canada. This is mandatory for unvaccinated passengers as per the Quarantine Act.  

 

9.The Client agrees that if they develop COVID-19 symptoms within 14 days of their return, they may be asked to isolate themselves, and immediately call a healthcare professional.  The extension of the quarantine to 14 days will begin again following the appearance of symptoms.  

 

10.The Client understands that if they have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, they may not enter Canada by air to protect the health of all travellers.  

 

11.The Client acts on behalf of, and represents, every person(s) as listed on their invoice and travel reservation. 

 

Important Advisements As of January 9, 2025, the following advisements apply to your vacation. Please read them carefully, as they include important information that you need to know before departure. Be sure to review this packet in its entirety, and advise us of any necessary changes immediately to avoid any change fees or vacation interruptions: ● Look over your vacation details: the dated itinerary, and other details, to ensure that we’ve covered everything you need for your vacation. ● Additional advisements may be sent to you.

● Children must be at least 8 years old to travel. There are no child discounts available 

Confirmation of hotels will be available approximately 30 days prior to departure. In the event of additional departures on the same date, or other events that may result in the unavailability of hotels as listed in the tour descriptions, the accommodations substituted will be equivalent in standard.

 ● In the event of water level problems or maintenance on the locks on stretches of any river, it may be necessary to operate part of the itinerary by motor coach or alter the program, including hotel overnight when necessary.

● Included visits and special features are subject to change. If a change is necessary, a substitute will be offered.

● Full passport details are required no later than final payment for all guests traveling internationally. ● If booking in Artistry II cabin D-111 and D-112, bed configuration is limited to TOGETHER. 

 

Shape 

A passport with at least 6 months validity beyond intended travel time is required for most international travel destinations. It is your responsibility to obtain at your expense all documentation, including visas, required by all relevant government authorities for travel, which may vary depending on citizenship status. Any traveler without proper documentation will be denied boarding and Flight Centre Associates will not be held responsible for incorrect documentation whatsoever. Travel to Cuba requires insurance coverage.  

You have advised your consultant that you are traveling on a Canadian passport. 

Effective June 1, 2009, Canadian citizens will require a passport to enter the United States at land and marine ports. A passport is required to entry in United States by air regardless.  

Cancellation, Amendment & Additional Charges: Most bookings are 100% non-refundable and non-changeable. Amendment charges may apply. Some charges and/or a portion of charges are refundable dependent on airlines/ suppliers' applicable charges. At the time of cancellation, you will be notified of the charges that will be refunded.
