DAY 2, Tue Feb 18 - Arrive in Dubai
Welcome to Dubai! After clearing arrival formalities, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.

DAY 3, Wed Feb 19 - New Dubai Tour (B, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide at the hotel. Begin with a photo stop at Dubai's signature landmark Burj Al Arab, the celebrated sail-shaped hotel facing the Persian Gulf. Continue to Jumeirah Palm, a man-made island, which was built in the shape of a palm tree, known for its posh residential buildings, villas, and luxury resorts. Upon entering the island, board the Palm Monorail which will take you to the far end of the palm. Afterward, visit Dubai Marina, one of Dubai's most exclusive districts and proceed to the nearby Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). Later, continue via Sheikh Zayed road to Burj Khalifa. Here, while at the top, a guide will help answer all your questions from your vantage point on level 124 of the building. Return to the hotel before an orientation meeting with your Tour Guide followed by dinner.

DAY 4, Thu Feb 20 - Old Dubai Tour & Desert Safari (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, head to the iconic Jumeirah Mosque for a photo stop. Then, proceed to the heart of Old Dubai, to visit the famous spice and gold souks. Walk through the maze of narrow alleys of these souks. Board one of the traditional local abras (water taxi) and cross the Dubai Creek to Bastakiya area. View the traditional wind towers and Al Fahidi Fort, housing the Dubai Museum. Afterward, you're invited to the Sheikh Mohammed Center for a specially arranged local Emirati lunch and meeting. Enjoy an open discussion and learn more about Emirati culture and local traditions.
Later, this afternoon join the Desert Safari (shared tour – 6 guests per vehicle). Board a 4X4 vehicle in Dubai and head out towards the highest sand dunes of the surreal surrounding desert. Feel the thrill of "dune bashing" as you spiral up and down the enormous golden dunes. Upon reaching the Bedouin campsite, you'll be welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee and will have the option to ride a camel. Then, enjoy a specially prepared barbecue dinner. Later, enjoy a Tanoura dance show, then watch as a captivating belly dancer enchants you with her swirling dances before returning to Dubai.
NOTE: This activity is an off-road experience. Pregnant women, as well as passengers with back problems and other medical conditions should consider whether this tour is right for them.

DAY 5, Fri Feb 21 – Dubai – Afternoon Half-Day Sharjah Tour (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. This afternoon half-day tour takes you to Sharjah, the "Pearl of the Gulf." Begin with a drive through the American University campus, followed by a photo stop at the Quran roundabout. Continue with a visit to the Islamic Museum, housing more than 5000 artifacts from all over the Islamic World. Next, tour the Heritage Museum where you will discover Sharjah's rich and diverse heritage and explore traditions that have endured the test of time. A visit to Sharjah is not complete without a stroll in souk al Arsa, the oldest souk in the county where you can bargain for jewelry, handicrafts, and carpets, among other specialty items. The last stop is the famous Jubail food and fish market that showcases the heritage of fishing in the UAE.

DAY 6, Sat Feb 22 – Dubai to Abu Dhabi - Al Ain Tour (B, L, D)
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, travel to Al Ain, the Garden City of the UAE, the birthplace of H.H. Sheikh Zayed, the first president of the UAE. Start with a visit the Al Ain Palace Museum, the former home of Sheikh Zayed, founder father of the UAE and gain insight into his life. Continue to the striking Al Jahili Fort, one of the region's largest fort. Then, head to Qasr Al Muwaiji, which served as a palace and administrative base for Sheikh Zayed. After the included lunch, depart for Abu Dhabi. Arrive and check into your hotel. Tonight, dinner is at a local restaurant.

DAY 7, Sun Feb 23 - Abu Dhabi Tour (B, L)
Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a city tour of the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. Begin at the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, an iconic symbol of Abu Dhabi. Continue to the Emirates Palace for a photo stop. Drive along the city's Corniche, and stop at the Breakwater, pause to take photos of the skyline. Then, head to the Date Market, and sample some of the many varieties of dates from the region. Afterward, admire cultural art at the Arab World's first universal museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi. Following lunch at a local restaurant, spend the afternoon at leisure.
Dress Code Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
There is a Mandatory Dress code to be followed for entry to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Abu Dhabi. Long trousers/pants or long skirts & long sleeves to ankle/wrist. No shorts for men/women and no tight & transparent clothing. Women must cover their heads with a scarf (plan to carry a scarf with you). No visible tattoos.

DAY 8, Mon Feb 24 - Depart the UAE (Abu Dhabi to Dubai) (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport in Dubai for your departure flight .Some flights depart shortly after midnight in the very early morning of Day 8 and will require a transfer on Day 7. Transfers depart the hotel approximately 5 hours prior to flight time.
