Private Custom Group Tour

September 15 - 25, 2021

First, we'd like to acknowledge the unprecedented time we are in due to the pandemic.  Everyone's health and safety, along with protecting your investment, are our top priorities!  With that in mind, please know we are monitoring this situation and will provide the best guidance we can using those guiding principles.  While we feel certain this situation will be managed by Fall 2021, we understand it adds an unknown when considering to join us.   However, reserving early was important to advocate for and secure favorable pricing, travel policies and our 'first-choice' lodging and excursion availability.   Plus, we've researched the premium travel insurance providers' updated policies (post COVID-19), and we will be offering their preferred policy options to protect your non-refundable investment and health while traveling.
Now, let's get back to dreaming about this trip!

Join us on a private group adventure customized with invigorating adventures, luxurious amenities and attentive service.   The journey, which takes us to three Portugal regions, begins in Lisbon in the Lisboa region with its fascinating history and wonderful culture, then goes inland to the charming Alentejo wine region and ends in the breathtaking Algarve southern coast near Faro.  You'll experience Alentejo in a way that only a cycling tour can provide - slowly, so you can savor all the region has to offer - including beautifully preserved UNESCO world heritage sites, a dark sky reserve, magical walled cities and world-famous wineries.  Then, we're serving up the perfect ending in the Algarve region with its breathtaking water, coastal caves and beaches.  You can make this journey your own by selecting from many customized excursions, while we all enjoy top-shelf lodging, amenities, food and community throughout the tour!

So that's enough words to peak your interest.   Now, find 10 minutes when you can grab a glass of  wine, or more aptly Port, then relax and absorb the preview of some of the exceptional lodging and adventures on tap for you in Portugal!

Shared experiences with a fun community are critical elements to unforgettable memories on a trip, but the anticipation of a trip is also fun!   So, as you review the itinerary, which is customizable to fit your preferred activities, start to imagine yourself on these incredible adventures creating the many life-affirming memories you will have forever!  And yes, before you focus on the miles noted below, e-bikes are available and this is a fairly flat tour, but rest days and support vans are always available too!

Vila Viçosa is known as the "Princess of the Alentejo". Although small, it is one of the most precious and charming jewels of the Alentejo, a "village-museum". The name Vila Viçosa is due to the fertility of the soil and the charms of its territory.
