Terms & Conditions

We are Joys Journeys s Travel & Tours and are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Joys Journeys s Travel & Tours and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.

The Terms and Conditions set forth in this agreement shall be deemed a part of and are expressly incorporated by reference into any and all agreements, forms and other documents, either entered into between the Travel Agency and you, or delivered to you by us; provided that in the event of any conflict, the terms and conditions of this agreement shall prevail. 

By accepting any services by Joys Journeys s Travel & Tours, or paying any fees and/or deposits, you are affirmatively representing that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions set forth in this agreement on behalf of yourself, and each person in your traveling party. 

You have reviewed the invoice in detail and have confirmed all of the names are spelled EXACTLY as they are spelled on your passport for international travel or government ID for domestic travel. You have reviewed your itinerary and the accommodations you have chosen is acceptable. If there is any mistake, CONTACT THE TRAVEL AGENCY IMMEDIATELY, PRIOR TO MAKING ANY PAYMENTS. Name change fees, and all other change fees will solely be the responsibility of the client if it is not addressed prior to making any payments. 

Price quotes are applicable to the date and time by which they are provided.  Travel reservations are NOT confirmed until a deposit has been made to secure it. Your travel invoice will reflect the amount needed to confirm your reservation. Unless otherwise stated, prices can fluctuate from the time a quote is generated and when the deposit is furnished. It is essential that your cooperation and response in a timely manner in order to secures your reservation at the quotes given, as the proposed rates can fluctuate minute by minute. 

We are pleased to offer, for your convenience, monthly payment plans, as long as your trip is booked greater than ninety (90) days prior to the time of travel. No payment plan is available on reservations made 45 days or less from the date of travel. Reserved travel plans must be paid in full on or before the final payment date by 5pmEST as noted on your invoice. Any reservations not paid in full by the final payment date is subject to automatic cancellation, with no notice, and no refund of payments made. 

To cancel your planned travel, the travel agency charges a non-refundable fee of $50.00 per person. Unless otherwise stated in your travel documents, you may cancel and receive a refund of your vacation payments, less any non-refundable payments, and any fees or penalties of the service providers. There are no refunds if the planned travel is cancelled after the final payment date or cancelled due to non-payment at the final payment date. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and emailed to joyjourneys99@yhaoo.com.

Important Information regarding COVID-19 and the impact on travel. Please be advised that you are considering, or intending to proceed with, international travel at a time when COVID-19 is a known global risk. Any person choosing to proceed with travel with that in mind, does assume and accept responsibility accordingly for the risks, potential loss and limitations that may apply. Please be aware that COVID-19, and the health and security measures around COVID-19 may impact parts of your trip and may influence the operation of some travel services. Any country you’re travelling to, from or via, and the airline(s) you are travelling on, may all have different, and strict requirements to limit the spread of COVID-19. These requirements may include but are not limited to:

1. Wearing of masks at airports, while on an aircraft, and when out in public.

2. Compulsory requirements to have adequate health & travel insurance coverage.

3. Active testing for COVID-19, before being allowed to board any flight or enter a country.

4.  Being able to show proof of current health status via formalized means (Certificate, test or similar)

5. Subject to screening on arrival at your destination country or any transit countries.

6. Subject to quarantine/isolation periods in any country subject to screening results.

7. Changing restrictions on sightseeing, due to closures or other public health concerns.

8. Limitation/restrictions on travel to your destination by your country of residence/citizenship.

9.  Possible compulsory quarantine on return to your country of residence/citizenship.

Your COVID testing dates and times (if needed) are provided to you to align with your destination requirements and your travel arrival and departure dates. If you choose to test outside of the window provided, and your boarding or entry is denied, there will be a $100 convenience fee for Joys Journeys Travel & Tours to rebook your travel.

NOTE! For ALL TRAVELERS flying to, including returning to, the USA - There are currently NO travel restrictions necessary for travel. This can change without notice. 

It is your responsibility to keep yourself and members of your traveling party (travel companions) informed of all requirements in relation to your trip and any COVID-19 based restrictions and suggest these are constantly monitored until your trip is complete, as they can change at any time even while overseas. Any additional expenses or fees incurred, or any loss, resulting from any airport, airline or government restrictions will be the sole responsibility of the traveler. Joys Journeys s Travel & Tours is not liable for any loss due to failure to read and understand this information, as the considerations included in this document may be critical to your upcoming trip. All considerations in this document apply to the person signing below, and any travel companions or persons considered to be part of the same travel party. For more information, before travelling, Joys Journeys s Travel & Tours recommends you consult either the Canadian or US Government websites for any specific travel advisory information pertaining to your destination.

You agree that you have carefully read the Terms and Conditions set forth in this agreement, and fully understand its contents, including cancellation policies and penalties.  You are aware that this agreement contains release of liability and constitutes a legal, valid, and binding agreement between you (on behalf of yourself and each member of your travel party) and Joys Journeys s Travel & Tours and agree of your own free will.
