Cancellation Policy:

• All cancellations must be made in writing and will incur a $250  non-refundable fee.
  
• If you have travel insurance, a refund will be processed per the terms outlined, after remitting a $250  plus any additional cancellation fee per supplier. .
• Without travel insurance, all payments made up to the date of cancellation are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• For shared suites/rooms, all parties must pay in full, otherwise, the entire reservation will be canceled.

Travel Itinerary and Accommodations:

• Family 1st Travelers reserves the right to substitute, modify, or withdraw any portion of the itinerary for the comfort, safety, or convenience of the group as deemed necessary.
• Rates and availability are not guaranteed.
• Special needs requests for ADA disabilities must be reported at the time of reservation. Family 1st Travelers will attempt to accommodate but is not responsible for denials by carriers, hotels, or other suppliers.

Responsibility and Liability:

• Family 1st Travelers is not responsible for changes made by airlines, bus conductors, or railways. Flight times and seat assignments are at the discretion of the airlines.
• Hotel room locations are at the hotel's discretion. Requests can be made but are not guaranteed.
• Baggage fees are not included and must be paid directly to the airline.
• Family 1st Travelers assumes no responsibility for personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity due to wrongful acts or omissions by suppliers, their employees, or other parties not under its control.

Accommodation Changes:

• The accommodations listed are intended for each tour. If changes are necessary, equivalent accommodations will be substituted.
• Non-smoking rooms will be booked unless otherwise requested, but smoking rooms cannot always be guaranteed.

Reservations and Payments:

• Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport. Incorrect names will incur a name change fee.
• Prices are based on double occupancy. Ensure your travel companion is also making their monthly payments.
• A single supplement is available.
• Prices are subject to change without notice.
• A first deposit, as listed on the website, and a completed registration form are required for all new reservations.
• Monthly payments are required for those on a payment plan. Failure to make these payments may result in cancellation.
• Full payment can be made at the time of booking. No further payments will be needed unless the reservation is modified.
• Airline seats are assigned by the airline. Seat upgrades may be requested for an additional fee.
• Name changes are allowed with a $350 fee and are not permitted after airline tickets are issued. No name changes are allowed less than 150 days prior to departure.
• A late payment fee of $350 per person is required after the final due date. Additional fees may apply, and late payment requests must be approved by Family 1st Travelers before the final payment date.

VALID Passport Required

   All guest traveling both internationally and domestically are required to present proper identification upon flight check-in and when clearing security or Customs. It is the traveler's responsibility to provide the correct documents and failure to do so may result in being denied boarding for the flight. Regrettably, we are unable to refund unused flights, hotel, or features because of denied boarding situations.

Please note that this information is for U.S. citizens only. Foreign travelers should visit their local consulate for travel requirements (a VISA or other written verification may be necessary). International Travel:

All international passengers regardless of age must present a government issued, non-expired, U.S. passport upon flight check-in and for U.S. Customs re-entry after air, land or sea travel. For more information regarding this requirement, please consult your travel agent or visit the State Department's Consular website at www.dhs.gov.

Before you travel, make sure you also know the entry requirements of Costa Rica country which can be found by visiting the country's consulate or embassy web site. Airlines may require special or additional documentation for children traveling without their legal guardian beyond what is mandated by the destination country. We encourage you to contact your air carrier for clarification.
