This 8 day cruise will stop in many iconic ports across 4 countries. Filled with art, history and architecture you'll be stunned by the beauty. Since we are journeying during the month of December you may get to see the way these countries celebrate the Christmas holiday season along with seeing the classic reasons we love this area.
What's included in this trip:
- round-trip economy airfare - please ask for pricing if you would like an upgraded fare class
- pick up/drop off airport transfers
- Luxury Cabin (double occupancy-1 king or 2 twin beds)
- Food, wi-fi, entertainment, non-alcoholic drinks and select beer/wine at lunches and dinners
- 1 shore excursion per port
- 1 priority reservation at each alternative restaurant onboard (Manfredi's Italian and The Chefs table)

- 2 nights hotel in Rome with breakfast and access to a Viking Host
What's not included:
- Insurance- we will send you a quote for this once we confirm your passenger details
- Gratuities- $119/person- can be prepaid once deposit is paid
- Silver spirits beverage package- $175/person- *select beer and wine are included at lunches and dinners without this package
- Extra shore excursions- there are many shore excursion options to choose from and while there is one included excursion per port (usually a walking tour), many guests add on extra excursions to enhance their trip. Shore excursions will be available to be viewed and booked starting August 16, 2025.

- Dec 1 (Barcelona): Arrive in Barcelona. Pickup by Viking and transfer to ship. Free day in Barcelona.
- Dec 2 (Barcelona): Day in Barcelona. Included tour TBD. 6pm port departure
- Day 3 (Montpellier, France): 8am-9pm. Included tour TBD.
- Dec 4 (Marseille, France): 7:30am-6pm. Included tour TBD.
- Dec 5 (Monte Carlo, Monaco): 8am-9pm. Included tour TBD.
- Day 6 (Florence/Pisa, Italy): 8am arrival. Ported overnight
- Dec 7 (Florence/Pisa, Italy): Included tour TBD. 6pm port departure
- Day 8 (Rome, Italy): Disembark and transfer to hotel. Day in Rome
- Dec 9 (Rome, Italy): Free day in Rome
- Dec 10 (Departure): Transfer to Rome airport. Arrival in US.
FAQ
- Are there any discounts?
You already receive a discount by booking with our group. If you are a past Viking guest then please let us know so we can get you a past guest discount. If you choose to pay with a bank account instead of a credit card then we can get you an additional 3.3% discount.
2. What does the ship look like? Can we access all spaces?
Viking Ocean cruise ship spaces can be accessed by everyone, regardless of what category cabin they are staying in.
3. Are there laundry facilities onboard?
Yes. There is a self-serve launderette on your deck or you can pay to have your laundry done for you by the housekeeping staff.
4. Will we be flying with the rest of the group? Do we get to pick our flights?
Guests in the same Viking cabin will be scheduled on the same flights, if traveling from the same cities on the same dates and in the same flight class. Coordinating flights from other bookings or with different cities, dates, or flight classes, requires the purchase of Air Plus for $150 per guest, plus any fare difference for selected flights. Air plus is also required if you would like to choose specific flights/carriers.
