Curated Journeys Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms 

Making a reservation and paying your deposit signifies your full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable Policy 

All payments to Moonglade Travel, LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable. This policy is firm because Moonglade Travel, LLC enters into immediate contractual agreements with hotels, transportation providers, and luxury vendors that do not allow for refunds. This structure allows us to secure exclusive pricing and provide flexible payment installments for our guests.

3. Travel Insurance (Strongly Recommended)

Missing a soul-refreshing journey is hard enough—losing your financial investment is worse. Moonglade Travel, LLC strongly recommends comprehensive Travel Protection. This can provide coverage for Trip Cancellation, Interruption, Medical Emergencies, and Baggage Loss. You may Click Here to Quote & Purchase Travel Insurance.

4. Payments & Credit Card Authorizations

  • Chargeback Policy: By booking, you agree to the cancellation terms outlined above. You agree not to initiate "improper chargebacks" (disputing charges for non-refundable reservations, force majeure events, or disagreements with the cancellation policy). Moonglade Travel, LLC reserves the right to recover all costs, including legal fees, associated with rebutting improper chargebacks.

  • Payment Milestones: Failure to make progress payments or the final balance by the due date will result in the automatic cancellation of your reservation without a refund.

 

5. Pricing & Payments

  • Price Lock: Rates are subject to change without notice; however, your price is locked once your deposit is received.

  • Payment Schedule: Payments are required to keep your reservation current based on the plan established at booking. We suggest adding these milestones to your personal calendar.

  • Late Fees: A late payment fee of $250 per person is automatically applied the day after a missed deadline. If a regular payment is more than 20 days past due, or the FINAL PAYMENT is more than 5 days late, your booking will be cancelled without refund.

 

6. Occupancy & Roommates Moonglade Travel, LLC does not offer Roommate Matching. * If you book at a Double Occupancy rate, you are responsible for ensuring your selected roommate also makes timely payments.

  • If your roommate cancels: If you are unable to secure a replacement roommate, you will be required to rebook at the Single Occupancy rate. This rate will be re-quoted at the time of the change based on the prevailing market rate.

7. Required Identification & Documentation

  • Passports: All international Curated Journeys require a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of travel.

  • Accuracy: Reservations must be made in your FULL LEGAL NAME as it appears on your passport. Your invoice name must match your passport exactly; Moonglade Travel is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to name discrepancies.

  • Visas & Health: Passengers are responsible for ensuring they have proper travel documents. You must check with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency for your destination to determine if a visa is required.

8. Itinerary Changes & Unused Services

  • The Moonglade Standard: We reserve the right to make minor changes to itineraries (substituting a comparable accommodation or activity) due to weather, local holidays, or unforeseen events. These are not "material changes" and do not entitle the guest to a refund.

  • No Refunds for Unused Portions: Our prices are based on group contracts. No refunds will be issued for unused meals, tours, or accommodations while the trip is in progress.

9. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

  • Third-Party Suppliers: Moonglade Travel, LLC acts as a booking agent for airlines, hotels, and tour operators. We are not liable for the acts, errors, or omissions of these third-party suppliers.

  • Force Majeure: Moonglade Travel, LLC assumes no liability for cancellations or delays resulting from Acts of God, environmental pollution, weather, strikes, government restrictions, pandemics, or civil unrest. In these cases, refunds are not guaranteed unless recovered from the suppliers.

  • Assumption of Risk: By joining a Curated Journey, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel, including but not limited to health risks (including COVID-19), physical activity, and local laws.

10. Photography & Video Likeness

Moonglade Travel, LLC reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during the journey for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). By booking, you grant us permission to use your likeness without further compensation.

11. Class Action Waiver & Governing Law

  • Notice of Claim: You agree that any suit against Moonglade Travel, LLC must be preceded by a typewritten notice of claim within 30 days after the trip's conclusion.

  • Individual Capacity: You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class action.

  • Jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any legal proceedings shall be held in a court of competent jurisdiction in North Carolina.
