European Christmas market Tour Trip Highlights
- We’ll visit some of the most famous and authentic Christmas markets in Europe. We’ll get to see several Christmas markets in Germany and we’ll visit and explore the beautiful city and Christmas markets of Prague too! We’ll visit 5 different cities in Europe and each town has multiple Christkindlmarkts!
- We’ll shop for handmade Christmas ornaments and unique beautiful holiday gifts you won’t be able to find anywhere else.
- We’ll enjoy live holiday music!
- The food at the European Christmas markets will be AMAZING! Bring on freshly grilled sausages, salmon grilled over an open fire, German breads and giant pretzels, and loads of homemade Christmas cookies, candies, and sweet treats!
- Don’t forget the beer and warm mulled German wine called Gluhwein . It’s so delicious and will keep you nice and toasty while exploring the Christkindlmarket. It’s so fun to collect the different authentic wine mugs from each market.
Trip Dates
I’ve timed this trip so that we’ll be back in plenty of time before the holiday season gets into full swing back at home.
On this trip you have the option to fly in one day early. It’s really nice to be able to rest up and get your groove back after our long flight. Most of my travelers really enjoy the extra day and flying in with me a day early!
You can join me and fly out December 2nd. I’ve planned a special Bavarian Dinner for us on December 3rd. You can sleep in and enjoy the Christmas markets or if you are feeling more adventurous you’ll have the option to add on a VIP private guided tour to visit the famous gorgeous Neuschwanstein Castle!
Or, you can fly out Monday, December 1 and arrive in Munich on December 2nd.
For the main trip, we’ll spend seven (7) fun-filled nights in Europe, flying home out of Prague and getting back to the U.S. December 10th.
I’ve worked hard to make this trip a SUPER GREAT value! This normally is a very expensive trip. Not mine! I’ve worked really hard to negotiate a great deal with so much included!
What To Expect
On this trip, you’ll see lots more Christmas markets than most tours! Munich alone has 16 different Christmas markets!
We’ll stay in wonderful hotels in great locations so we can easily walk to explore the Christmas markets.
We’ll eat amazing food! You’ll wake up to delicious coffee and espresso drinks and a big beautiful delicious breakfast every morning at our hotels. The breakfasts are AMAZING !
On our first night, I’ve planned a very special HUGE German welcome dinner at the MOST AMAZING restaurant where the locals go! We’ll have lots of German wine and beer. It’s the perfect way to start our trip in Munich!
I’ve also planned a city tour in Munich so we can learn all about this amazing town! Tonight we’ll explore more Munich Christmas markets! There are a dozen or more just in Munich alone!
After Munich we’ll go on to visit a few charming German towns. First up is Regensburg. It is one of my favorites!
After Regenburg, we’ll head to Nuremberg! They have huge Christmas markets! We’ll enjoy a guided food and walking tour in Nuremberg.
We’ll also have an ugly Christmas sweater party with food and beer and wine!
On this trip, you’ll have free time to shop and explore on your own but we’ll also have fun times and some meals together!
In Dresden we’ll have another included guided walking tour of the city and Christmas markets. They are sp spectacular!
In Prague we’ll have a guided walking city tour to see all the top sights like the gorgeous Palaces, beautiful churches, the Old Town and the Royal Way.
On our last day, we’ll take a beautiful river cruise to see Prague and the lights at night. It’s stunning! After that we’ll enjoy a magical farewell dinner with drinks, live music and entertainment! It’s an AMAZING night!
