Day 1: Welcome to Accra, Ghana
Settle in at your hotel.  Relax and enjoy the remainder of the day in the dynamic capital of Accra. Later attend 
our special Welcome Dinner event, complete with delicious local and Western food, Afrobeat's, and good vibes to get acquainted
with the "The Island Travel Boutique" travel fam.   
 
Day 2: Visit Legendary Black Star Gate into Nightlife Experience 
Kick start your day with Breakfast at the hotel. Prepare for your visit to the legendary
Black Star Gate site and to capture the famous pose.
In the evening, we're heading out to experience Accra's nightlife (Optional).  

 
Day 3: W.E.B DuBois Center 
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by a visit to the W.E.B DuBois Center.
Later, we move on to one of Accra's best kept secret beaches for a day of fun in the sun. 
 
Day 4: Shai Hills Half Day Accra Safari Hike & Animals View
Breakfast at the hotel, then prepare for a Half-Day Safari tour 
 
Day 5 Chill Day to visit beach 
 
Day 6 The Cape Coast Tour
Kick off the day with breakfast at the hotel. Followed by a Visit Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle and Kakum National Park on a full-day tour from Accra
You will get the opportunity to learn about the history of slavery in Ghana as you explore the slave castles that now a UNESCO World Heritage Site,
then follow a short hiking trails to a suspended canopy walkway at the Kakum National Park.
 
Day 7 Accra visit to Cape Coast
We are off to visiting the Historic Jamestown & Kwame Nkrumah Memorial to learn more about 
Ghanian history or opt for the *Optional tour to participate in the Accra to Cape Coast Naming Ceremony
 
Day 8: Accra, Ghana  
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the use of your room before checking out and
transferring to the airport at the indicated time (usually 3/4 hours before your departure flight) for
your flight.
 
 
 

Cancellation policy:

All group trip experiences are not inclusive of flights. However, our specialized packages will include round trip flights. The Island Travel Boutique trips packages varies and will indicate in whether accommodation, activities and full transportation are included. Where applicable, some meals will be covered and this is indicated on the country booking page.

The group trip cost is on a shared room basis which means you will be paired with another trip participant in one room based on fit. Every traveler is properly vetted and matched. You will also have a chance to meet other travelers before the trip in a private group. If you prefer to stay in your own room, please reach out to us and we can make that happen at an additional cost.

All trips are priced in USD.

Refunds

All deposit payments are non-refundable. However, they can be transferred to another trip of your choice. This payment goes directly towards the total trip cost, confirms your trip and guarantees your spot.

You may cancel your travel arrangements at any time before the trip departure. However please note you may lose part or all of your money paid. 

If you cancel and your trip is more than 90 days away, you get a full refund (less deposit fee).

If you cancel and your trip is in less than 90 days, you have the option to transfer your payments as a credit towards a future trip with The Island Travel Boutique.

If you cancel and your trip is in less than 60 days, you have the option to transfer your payments as a credit (less 30% of trip value) towards a future trip with The Island Travel Boutique.

For any cancellations with trip date less than 30 days, the cancellation fee is equal to the full booking value.
