Canada Black Bear Hunt June 2025

Ontario, Canada

Rock Water Adventures offer Canadian Black Bear hunts through Canoe Canada.

Bow or Rifle

Rock Water staff arrives early in the year to set up bait stations, trail cameras, blinds and stands.  Our guides get a good idea of where the bears are coming and when.

You arrive in camp on day one and our staff takes you to Canoe Canada office to get you all set up with the legal side.  Licenses (hunting and fishing) and bear tags.  Depending on when you arrive you can even hunt that afternoon.

Mornings the guides are baiting and checking cameras.  You can come along or do this on your own depending on package you choose.  Mornings are also great for fishing on the lake.  Our cabin is on a lake with Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike and more.  Those breakfast burritos made with walleye are simply amazing.

Afternoon is time to get in the stand and get hunting.  Canoe Canada boasts a high success rate each year.  Their clients harvest about 100 black bear a year!  You will have two baited areas to use during your hunt.  No one else will have access to your area unless you are sharing with someone in your group.  Bait sites are roughly 1 to 1.5 miles apart.  No one will be in your area but you!

Our staff drops you and picks you up.  We also recover, skin and quarter  your bears for you depending on package you choose.

Some important info for this trip.  The trip takes place in Ontario, Canada.  Canada is very strict on who they grant access into their country.  If you have ever had a DUI/DWI or a felony for any reason, you cannot come to Canada without getting this straightened out before you go.  We can point you in the right direction to get this taken care of.
