How It Works:

Savory Getaways is proud to partner with the Wounded Warrior Project this Giving Tuesday. We are donating one spot at Medicine Bow Lodge for a deserving veteran or service member to enjoy a week of rest, relaxation, and connection. With your help, we’re raising funds to cover a second spot, so they can share this transformative experience with a companion.

All donations will go directly toward funding the second spot, and both spots will be gifted to the Wounded Warrior Project, which will select the recipients.

1. Where will my donation go?
Your donation will be applied exclusively to funding the second spot at Medicine Bow Lodge. Once fully funded, both spots (one donated by Savory Getaways and the second funded by your contributions) will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project, which will choose the recipients.

2. Who will benefit from this experience?
The recipients will be selected by the Wounded Warrior Project to ensure the opportunity goes to a veteran or service member and their companion who would benefit from this restorative retreat.

3. How much should I donate?
Every dollar makes a difference! Whether you contribute $10 or $1,000, your support helps create a life-changing experience for our nation's heroes.

4. How do I donate?
Donations can be made via credit card. Please include “Giving Tuesday Donation for WWP” in the payment notes.

5. Can I get updates on the donation progress?
Yes! We will provide updates on the progress of funding the second spot and share the impact of your generosity once the recipients are chosen.

6. Is my donation tax-deductible?
Since the funds are being collected through Savory Getaways, donations may not be tax-deductible. However, the full value of the donated spots will go to support a veteran or service member and their companion, ensuring a profound and lasting impact.
