Your excursion begins at the pier where you'll board your air-conditioned motor coach to enjoy the land portion of your tour as your guide provides commentary enroute to Midtown Manhattan's famous 42nd St. Drive by Rockefeller Center, Central Park and many other Manhattan icons on your drive to the Ferry. Once there you will embark on the harbour cruise for an approximately 60-minute tour of New York's waterways. Experience unparalleled views of New York City's skyline and harbour as the ship guide provides an informative narration (in English only). See the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, One World Trade and the boroughs of Brooklyn and Staten Island. View neighbouring New Jersey and the immigrant gateway to America, Ellis Island. Be sure to have your camera ready for a gem of a photo, as the boat passes directly in front of the Statue of Liberty (guests do not get off the vessel).After disembarking the boat return to your coach and continue a narrated scenic drive enroute to the airport.

Fancy doing a bit of a disappearing trick and taking yourself off the ship to spend some time on a private island, complete with a unique wildlife encounter? This tour will see you off to Balmoral Island, across from the coast of New Providence. After being greeted on arrival you will be required to fill out paperwork which includes signing a waiver, with a short orientation to inform you about dolphins and what to expect during your meet and greet encounter. A short walk later you'll be wading into the shallow water and, in the company of the experienced dolphin trainer, get to enjoy some time in close quarters to one of these lovable marine mammals. Apart from answering any questions you may have, the trainer will demonstrate a variety of behaviours, introduce you to the dolphin! You can also purchase a photo of your unique encounter once you're back on dry land, after which you'll have time at leisure to relax on the lounge chairs included in the outing or go for a refreshing swim before you leave and return to the ship.

Drive a Jeep through downtown Nassau and its suburbs, taking in attractions such as the caves where the indigenous Lucayans once lived and then pausing to relax approximately 30 minutes at the beach. After a short walk from the pier, you will hop into a Jeep Wrangler and hit the open road. There is plenty to see during your time behind the wheel, starting with downtown Nassau, the capital, largest city, and cultural hub of the Bahamas. Likewise, you will have an opportunity to see areas rarely seen by tourists while visiting Nassau. You will then head west towards the Nassau Caves for a photo stop. Enjoy scenic views of the JFK Memorial and the Tropical Gardens. Free time on one of Nassau's most inviting beaches follows, during which you might stroll along the shore, bask in the sun or simply admire the natural beauty and serenity of the sea. Then after a bountiful lunch, you will return to the pier.

There are 3 stops on the tour where you will be able to switch drivers. Maximum weight limit is 300 lbs. per person. Maximum Height is 6 feet 2 inches. Drive through Nassau to reach the highest point of the island, from where you will enjoy a beautiful view of the harbor. At this location, you will have time to explore the fort and the Queen Victoria Staircase, do some light shopping on your own, and take pictures. Then, you will head to Paradise Island, followed by a photo opportunity at the Atlantis Resort. Continue with a drive past the Government House and the Parliament Building before you stop at John Watling's Distillery, where you will be welcomed with a pina colada rum sample and learn about the process of rum making in Nassau. Enjoy time to relax on the outdoor patio with cool ocean breezes and views. We will then pass by Fish Fry and Junkanoo Beach for a photo stop, from where you will see your ship in the harbor, before returning back to the pier.

Guests with walking difficulty and mobility problems should consider that there is a walking distance of approximately 1 mile/1.6 km to cover form the ship to the buses.

Get a taste of the Big Apple on this half-day, guided sightseeing adventure and discover New York’s most celebrated landmarks. Enjoy a sightseeing drive of Manhattan passing by Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the Theatre District, the Empire State Building and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Travel through quintessential New York neighbourhoods as you pass Greenwich Village, Little Italy, the Financial District, Fifth Avenue and Central Park. On your way down to Lower Manhattan, your informative guide will offer historic and factual commentary. You will first stop at Battery Park to see the Statue of Liberty in the distance. The highlight of your New York exploration will be a visit to 9/11 Memorial which consists of two massive pools set within the original footprints of the Twin Towers with 30-foot waterfalls cascading down their sides. The names of the 2,982 men, women and children killed in the attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993 are inscribed in bronze on parapets around the edges of the Waterfalls. There will be some time to view and contemplate the 9/11 Memorial, and NY`s tallest building, One World Trade. Your tour guide will be there to answer questions. Following these visits, you will re-board the coach and drive back to the ship.

Enjoy a comfortable bus tour of the highlights of Space Coast, Florida. Begin with a trip to Space View Park and Space Walk Hall of Fame monuments. A guide will explain the history of early space while viewing the Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Shuttle monuments, all dedicated to the workers and astronauts of these space programs. You will then continue to the Canaveral National Seashore and Playa Linda Beach, where you can enjoy scenic views, snap a few pictures, and hear the history of this protected area. A short drive will then take you to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge where you can have a spectacular view of the Vehicle Assembly Building, used in building all the Apollo Rockets and the Space Shuttle. Drive within feet of NASA's Kennedy Space Center, and the Blue Origin Rocket Factory. You'll have some time to walk around and take some pictures before you return to the ship.

 

An approximately 15-minute shuttle will bring you to the beautiful and famous Cocoa Beach, the world's surfing capital and home to the massive Ron Jon Surf Shop. Take a walk around town or spend your day relaxing at the beach. Be sure to sample some of the delightful cuisine at one of the many Cocoa Beach eateries you will pass along the way. 

Please note: This tour is only available for guests who are in transit in the port of Port Canaveral. This tour is not recommended for guests confined to a wheelchair. Return transportation to the cruise terminal will be via shuttle bus, which departs approximately every 45 minutes. The last shuttle bus will depart 1 hour before all aboard.
