Itinerary:

Day 1-Depart the United States
Depart your hometown and take and overnight flight across the Atlantic.  Enjoy in-flight entertainment and meal service as you travel to start you vacation.

Day 2-Dublin Arrival
After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs & immigration formalities.  Our tour guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach

We will journey into Malahide to stop and have breakfast at a local restaurant or pub. We will visit Malahide Castle, a visually remarkable ancient castle set outside the beautiful town of Malahide. There will be time to explore this quaint, upscale town.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           We will continue to Belfast, check into hotel and settle in to your room.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Welcome dinner in the hotel restaurant.                          Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3- Belfast Sightseeing
This morning we will embark on a guided tour of Belfast to see the Albert Memorial, the Opera House and Crown Liquor Saloon. Next we will visit Titanic Belfast to learn about the evolution of the Titanic from concept until her ill-fated end in 1912.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Return back to the hotel and have the balance of the day to sightsee, shop and dine on your own.

Day 4- Giant's Causeway
Today, travel to visit the Giant's Causeway, an impressive area of hexagonal columns formed over 60 million year ago by cooling lava, which has given rise to many legends. The head back to our hotel in Belfast where the remainder of the day is at leisure for independent activities and dining.

Day 5- Ireland to Scotland
After breakfast, drive to Larne and take a short ferry ride to Cairnryan, located on the western banks of Scotland.  Upon arrival we will be greeted by our Scottish guide.

We will journey through Scotland's countryside into Glasgow and set off on a panoramic tour to see the highlights of the city. Drive around St. George Square filled with statues of Sir Walter Scott, Queen Victoria and other influential people. See Victorian City Chambers, opened in1888 by Queen Victoria. Pass Glasgow Cathedral, a splendid 12th century Gothic building dedicated to St. Mungo, the patron saint of the city. 

We will head to the hotel and get settled in and enjoy a group dinner.

Day 6- Eilean Donan Castle
Leaving Glasgow, enjoy scenic views as we drive along the shores of Loch Lomond. Continue our travel through the Glencoe Region, an area know for the Massacre of Glen Coe in 1692. During the massacre the Campbells slaughtered many of the Macdonald clan. We will stop to see the Eilean Donan Castle, on of the most iconic images of Scotland. Eilean Donan is situated on and island at the point where three great sea lochs meet and is surrounded by some majestic scenery.  Transfer to our hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh. Settle into hotel before a group dinner.

Day 7- Isle of Skye
We will travel the Skye Bridge to the Isle of Skye to see some of Scotland's loveliest scenery.  We will stop to visit Dunvegan Castle which has been the stronghold of the Chiefs of MacLeod for nearly 800 years.  It is unique in Scotland and it is the only house of such antiquity to have retained its family throughout the centuries.                                                                                                                                We will continue to Kilt Rock sea cliff, which is said to look like a kilt and the home to Mealt Falls. Nest we will head to Portree for some free time to explore on your own.                                      Return to the hotel and enjoy dinner at one of the local venues on your own.

Day 8 - Inverness Sightseeing
We will head to the village of Lochcarron for some photos.  Then continue to Strathpeffer, which has been the site of several battles in a strategic location.  Upon arrive, you will have some free time toe explore.

We will then drive to Inverness and set off on a panoramic tour.  Inverness is a city which evolved from an ancient fort to the capital of the Scottish Highlands. The city is home to approximately 65,000 people along with being the regional and administrative center for the Highlands of Scotland. 

Transfer to our hotel in Nairn.  Dinner with group in the hotel restaurant.

Day 9- Urquhart Castle
Today we will take a boat ride along Loch Ness which will give you an opportunity to enjoy he scenery and also keep an eye out for the famous "Nessie.  Stop to see Urquhart Castle which was once the largest castle in Scotland.

Next on to Culloden Moore and stop to tour the Visitor Center.  Walk around the battlefield where, on April 16, 1746, British Government forces defeated the army of Prince Charles Edward Stuart in just one hour and ended hopes of the Jacobite Stuarts to the British throne.

Head back to the hotel and enjoy the balance of the day for free time and dining.

Day 10- Johnston of Elgin
After breakfast, travel to Johnston of Elgin, a woolen mill that produces cashmere garments. Enjoy some leisure time to shop on your own. Nest we will head to Pitlochry to visit the Blair Atholl Distillery. Enjoy a "wee dram" while learning about the process of whiskey.

Visit Culross Palace before heading to our hotel in Edinburgh where you can enjoy the evening to dine on your own at one of the many restaurants and pubs.

Day 11- Edinburgh Sightseeing
we will embark on an orientation tour of Edinburgh, Scotland's Capital city.  We will travel the Royal Mile and explore Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city on volcanic rock and dominates the skyline. 

Tonight we will head to a unique Scottish venue for dinner followed by a traditional Scottish ceilidh. The night includes lively music, dancing and of course the ceremonial Haggis.

Day 12- Edinburgh
Enjoy the day on your own to explore Edinburgh.  You will have a voucher for the Hop On Hop Off bus that you can use to get around the city.

Enjoy our last night in Scotland and enjoy the lively dinner venues and pubs.

Day 13- Home Sweet Home
After breakfast, transfer to Edinburgh Airport for you return flight home.

You have 3 days to cancel without penalty after we confirm by email you are on the tour. Afterward, the amount required at time of reservation becomes non-refundable and the following cancellation dates and penalty amounts will be enforced.

Upon Booking: Deposit and Travel Insurance 
Final Payment: February 10 2023
Cancellation on or after this date results in a cancellation fee of 100% of your Total Tour Cost.

Land Cancellation Penalties.  All cancellations must be advised in writing. No refunds will be made for unused or pre-purchased events.

99-66 days prior to travel- Forfeiture of deposit.

65-8 days prior to travel- 50% per person

7 days to day of departure 100% per person
