An unforgettable deep-sea fishing adventure in Cancun / Riviera Maya
Start out your fishing expedition in the early morning or in the early afternoon with pick-up from your hotel to the Marina El Cid fishing resort in the Riviera Cancun area. There, you’ll meet the captain and crew who will take care of you and the other guests with whom you’ll share a boat on this adventure. You and the group will be equipped with all your deep-sea fishing gear, and you’ll get a briefing on what to expect on your journey.
The boat will sail off into the turquoise Caribbean waters, passing through the shallower parts of the sea. Enjoy beer and soft drinks as you take in the gorgeous views all around you. After a while, the crew will have you trolling for the bait that will attract the bigger fish later on in the journey.
Go for your biggest catch-out in the Caribbean
Once you’re out in the wide open sea, the crew will find the spots where the biggest fish are lurking in the depths. The Mexican Caribbean is famous for its extensive variety of fish such as sailfish, white and blue marlin, Mahi-mahi, king mackerel, wahoo, barracuda, and amberjack, depending on the season. Experience the thrill of this exciting sport once you catch one of them, putting up a fight as your crew aids you in reeling them onto the boat.
