Thank you for considering joining me on my momentous celebration with this epic trip to the 7th continent. Whether this is your first time to the polar region or you've been numerous times, I'm honored that you're considering coming along with me.
I've tried to list as much information as possible on this site, but by all means feel free to reach out with questions. A deposit ($1000 per person for regular staterooms, 25% of total for suites) is required to hold your room, but final payment isn't due until about 4 months prior to sailing. That means you have almost one and a half YEARS to save!

- Polar Expedition activities may be reserved in advance (but guests will not be charged until they are onboard). All premium activities for Antarctica sailings will be deployed and ready to book 120 days prior to sailing. These optional excursions are first come, first served. The groups department is not responsible for pre booking or keeping track of activities for any individual group. It is solely the travel advisor or group leaders’ responsibility to pre-book/reserve all activities.

***** An aside here: I get extremely seasick. Atlas has all very new ships that have some of the best stabilizers on the market to help with the sway. I have "champagne test" videos that show 40+ foot swells outside, while a glass full of champagne on the windowsill of an Atlas ship, doesn't move. Will I still take Dramamine and a patch(es)? Oh yeah. And they also have a Dr on board in case you need anything stronger. But just know that I've looked into the Drake Shake as well!
Day 4: Crossing tbe Antarctic Circle - Captain's choice As you cross the Antarctic Circle at the 66th southern parallel, you enter what feels like another world, creating a connection with your inner explorer spirit. Days 8 & 9 - Exploring the South Shetland Islands - Captain's Choice: Part of the greater Antarctica region, the South Shetland Islands contain plenty of wildlife, scenic landscapes, hiking opportunities and magnificent viewpoints that inspire a sense of discovering another world. A possible landing on Elephant Island, named for the shape of its cliffside and the elephant seals that call it home, puts you on the same path as the famous Shackleton Expedition. Deception Island, another possible landing and named for its very nature, is in fact a volcanic caldera where you can find heated springs amid the striking black sands. Other stops could include Half Moon Island, Yankee Harbor, Point Wild and Barrientos Island, where you can find plenty of Gentoo penguin rookeries.
