• 💴 Can You Bring Cash to Japan?

  There is no strict legal limit on how much money you can bring into or out of Japan. You’re allowed to carry as much cash as you want. However:
  📍 If the amount exceeds ¥1,000,000 (one million Japanese yen) — which is roughly ~$6,500–$9,000 USD depending on the exchange rate — you’re required by law to declare it to Japanese customs when you arrive or leave the country.

Cancellation & Name Transfer Policy

Please review the following terms carefully before completing your booking:

• Travel Insurance Strongly Recommended
We strongly suggest that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance, which includes coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, and travel delays. Travel insurance helps protect your investment in the event that any unforeseen circumstances arise, preventing you from traveling. Please ensure your policy offers adequate coverage for your individual needs.

• Cancellation Policy
All cancellations are subject to a $500 per-person fee until July 23, 2026. At which point, there are no refunds, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This fee is non-refundable and non-negotiable and will be deducted from any eligible refund, in accordance with the trip’s payment schedule and supplier policies. 

AGAIN I STRESS...PLEASE PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE TO PROTECT YOUR INVESTMENT AND ANY FEES THAT MAY COME ALONG WITH CANCELING YOUR PLANS, IF IT UNFORTUNATELY HAS TO COME TO THAT.

A quote will be provided upon your deposit, and you will have up to 14 Days from the date of your initial deposit to purchase your policy to ensure Full Coverage.

• Name Transfer Policy
If you are unable to travel but wish to transfer your booking to another individual, you may do so up until July 23, 2026. Please note that a $250 name change fee will apply. All transfer requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval and deadlines imposed by hotels and other travel partners. Name Transfers are not guaranteed after this date and are based on availability and provider restrictions.

• Itinerary & Hotel Changes
Itinerary details and hotel accommodations are subject to change if necessary. Any substitutions will be made with comparable options to ensure the quality and value of the travel experience remains intact.

Cancellation Policy Subject to Change
All cancellation and name change policies are set in accordance with our suppliers and may be subject to change (from what is noted in the T&C's at any time without prior notice. While we make every effort to communicate updates promptly, final terms are determined by the supplier(s) at the time of cancellation and will apply to all bookings.

When initially signing up for the trip, you do not need to provide extensive information, such as passport details and flight seat preferences. You can come back and update this information later.

Group Harmony Policy

To ensure a positive experience for all travelers, CJ’s Luxe Travel maintains a strict code of conduct. We reserve the right to remove any traveler whose actions disrupt the group environment or negatively affects the experience of others. This includes, but is not limited to, disorderly conduct, excessive intoxication, verbal abuse, or any behavior deemed unsafe or incompatible with group travel.

If removal becomes necessary, the traveler will be responsible for all associated costs, including alternative travel arrangements and penalties. No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of the trip due to removal.
