Day01 : Chiangmai




Arrival in Chiangmai International Airport (CNX).

Transfer to check-in at the airport.

Check-in at the hotel.

Sawasdee Jao (greetings from the North of Thailand)! Welcome to Chiangmai,  known as the Rose of Northern Thailand. Upon arrival, the local tour guide will greet and welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. On the way to the hotel, you will have a quick peek of Chiangmai city.

Arrival at the hotel. It is time to rest, relax, and acclimate to your new time zone.


 

 

November 07 :
Day02 : Chiangmai

8.30 am - Explore Chiangmai Old Town and temples by the Trishaw ride, the best tour to explore the Chiangmai Old Town. We start off at the Warrorod and Flower Market. Then we move along streets towards the Tah Pae Old City Gate to explore the old city residential area before stopping at Wat Phra Singh temple.


Lunch at a good local restaurant for the world famous Khao Soi, the Northern Thai curry noodle soup which is just ranked as the number one best soup in the world 2022 by TasteAtlas.


2-Hour Thai Massage at Healthland.

Day03 :
Chiangmai

Half-Day to visit Doi Suthep Temple with local lunch.

Dinner with Yee Peng Loy Kratong Lantern Festival

8.00 am - Head half-way up towards Doi Suthep - the mountain that towers over the city of Chiang Mai - to find the highly revered Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. A visit here is an absolute must for first-time visitors and part of the allure is in the journey getting here. Make the exciting journey by driving up along the long and winding road to enjoy the cool and calm surrounding atmosphere as you ascend.

After arriving at the temple gates, leave the car transport behind to start the walk up to the top. Opt to conquer the 300 steps guarded by the Naga guardians, or choose a cable car convenience instead. At the top, explore the central chedi adorned in golden flakes, renowned for its glittering façade under the midday sun. The architecture, statues, murals and shrines seen here are nothing short of breathtaking and promise commanding views over the surrounding wilderness and panoramic view of the entire Chiangmai city.

Free time until participation in the exclusive Yee Peng CAD Lantern Festival.

Pickup at Maya Shopping center meeting point for transportation to festival at 3:15pm.

Enjoy the lantern festival, shows, and dinner until 8:50pm before returning to the pickup location.

Chiangmai

Join Transfer to Patara Elephant Farm for Elephant Day Care program (5-6 hours)

Patara’s “Elephant Day Care” is the ideal trip to learn about, and to care for our elephants. The emphasis is on the care of our pregnant elephants and mothers with small baby elephants. You will have quality time with us to learn about our conservation philosophy “Elephant Conservation in Action”.


You will be taking part in the daily healthcare routine that includes health inspection, feeding, walking with the elephants for exercise, and also to the water for drinking and bathing. You will be able to observe them interacting with their families in natural environments. The knowledgeable staff will be providing you with information regarding their daily care.


This trip will not include riding any elephants. It is suitable for all, especially friends, family with children, and lovers.


This is considered one of the Best Elephant Care Program in Thailand, is a very specialized and educational trip with elephants. We will have Thai picnic break, refreshment break, and complimentary photos of your activities.

Day05 : Chiangmai-Bangkok (BKK)

Join the Cooking Class with lunch at Chiangmai Thai Cookery School (4 hours)

Pick-up from your hotel to the Chiangmai Thai Cookery School. This popular Thai cooking school is owned and operated by "Master Chef" Sompon Nabnian. You will make your own Thai dishes with authentic recipes and locally grown ingredients. The best Thai food comes from using the freshest ingredients, along with the skillful art of preparation and combining the right ingredients at the right time to create an exceptional dish. With a combo of the fresh local market tour, you will have a chance to learn how to choose good ingredients for cooking and discover the Thai traditional ways of life. The school offers five delicious mouth-watering courses for you to choose from (vegetarian options are available for all dishes in all courses).


Check-out from the hotel and transfer to Chiangmai Airport (CNX) to depart for Bangkok (BKK).

November 11 :
Day06 : BKK

Half Day Sightseeing: Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha Temple, Wat Pho (4 hours)

Visit the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark and the most praised royal monument in Thailand. Built-in 1782 by King Rama I, it was the center of power for more than 150 years. Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, is located right next to the Grand Palace.  It houses the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred Buddha image in Thailand. This small image of Buddha is 75cm high and has become the principal Buddha image in Thai history. Photography is permitted in the Royal Palace Grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple, but not inside the buildings. Then visit Wat Po, the oldest and largest temple in Bangkok that was built nearly 200 years ago and houses the enormous world famous Reclining Buddha.

Lunch - at a local location before heading back to your hotel and the rest of the day is free for your own pleasure.

Note: Entering the Grand Palace requires a strict dress code. Participants on this tour should note that the chapel is a national shrine and you will be required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulders, tank tops or sundresses) Shoes must be removed before entering the temple buildings as a matter of respect.

Afternoon free time for the guests who may want to watch the Boxing Stadium


Optional : Muay Thai at Ratchadamnoen Boxing Stadium.

Sports enthusiasts shouldn’t leave Thailand without watching a Muay Thai, or Thai Kickboxing, match. Have fun watching the sport in an authentic setting, the Rajadamnern Stadium, which is one of the most important Muay Thai arenas in the country. While tourists are welcome, you’ll also get the chance to rub shoulders with locals, as Thai fans flock here to cheer (and bet!) on their favorite boxers. Learn about Thai culture through its sport and get a close-up view with ringside seats. Hotel transfers are provided. One soft drink is included.

Day07 : BKK

Full Day Tour to Ayutthaya

A full day tour, bringing you to visit the former ancient capital of Thailand, Ayutthaya which prospered during the 14th to 18th centuries. Rise early for your morning pick up and drive north of Bangkok for 1.30 hours to Ayutthaya, crowned as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Explore the historical park, which contains ancient ruins of palaces, Buddhist temples and monasteries. All Instagram pictures are perfect. Visit a must-see ancient site such as Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Si Sanphet (note: Wat means Temple site in Thai). Hear the story of these magnificent ruins of Ayutthaya full of cultural insight and discovery. 


Lunch - at the local restaurant, then stop by Roti Sai Mai street that is widely popular throughout the city. This Thai-style candy floss or silken cotton candy that is rolled in a paper-thin munchy Roti sheet. We will see how they make this sweet treat and taste it. Afterwards, return to the Bangkok hotel late in the afternoon.

November 13 :
Day08: BKK

Free day for leisure. Enjoy exploring Bangkok city on your own until dinner.

Tuk Tuk Night Tour & Local Food Tasting (Dinner)

Explore the beauty of Bangkok at night by the iconic tuk-tuk and enjoy a fun evening activity when the temperatures are cooler, traffic is lighter, and there are few crowds. Stop and walk around a selection of local sights including local temples and Pak Khlong Talat flower market. Sample local food as your guide stops for snacks, a main course, and dessert. Dinner will be served at a Bib Gourmand Michelin guide restaurant - Elvis Suki. This famous restaurant has had the same recipe for over 30 years. The Suki (Thai style sukiyaki) can be ordered with or without soup, but the best is the soupless style sukiyaki beef with Elvis’ secret eggy sauce, smoky aroma from the charcoal stove and perfectly cooked beef is the best. (If the restaurant is closed/unavailable, alternative Michelin guide restaurants will be substituted by the guide.)

Except for as otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions, payments to BAG Travel are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because BAG Travel has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. Deposits and Fees:

Things happen and even airlines give you a refund within 24 hours of booking. So, Your deposit is refundable up to 72 hours after booking. Beyond that, it is non-refundable. Please allow at least five to seven business days for any refunds to be processed.
In addition, BAG Travel charges a non-refundable booking fee of $50 (USD) per booking. This fee will be non-refundable upon booking a trip with Our site.
