Day 1: February 9th - Arrival and Welcome HAMU to New Orleans

 
Arrive in New Orleans and check into your hotel.
 
Take the opportunity to meet other HAMU members, explore and get a taste of local cuisine, and soak in the lively ambiance of the French Quarter.
 

Day 2: February 10th - Endymion Parade W/HAMU

Start the day with a delicious breakfast buffet at the hotel to energize for the upcoming festivities.

Join other members of HAMU and attend the world-renowned Endymion Parade.

Experience the magic and spectacle as colorful floats, lively marching bands, and extravagant costumes parade by, showcasing the true spirit of Mardi Gras.

Immerse yourself in the jubilant atmosphere, catching beads and enjoying the vibrant celebrations surrounding the parade. 

Day 3: February 11th -Jazz Brunch and Optional Excursions

 

You may opt to join HAMU for a Jazz Brunch aboard a historic riverboat.
 
Conclude the day by savoring a delectable Creole cuisine experience, indulging in the mouthwatering flavors that make New Orleans a renowned dining destination.
 

Day 4: February 12th - Cafe' Du Monde w/HAMU and Magical Exploration

Join HAMU members at Cafe Du Monde at 10am.

Venture out to explore iconic landmarks, such as Jackson Square or St. Louis Cathedral, or browse the unique shops and boutiques in the French Quarter.

Immerse yourself in the vibrant local culture, perhaps discovering live music at famous jazz clubs or enjoying street performances. 

Day 5: February 13th - Departure Day

After a remarkable Mardi Gras adventure, check out of your hotel and bid farewell to the magical city of New Orleans.

Depart with cherished memories with HAMU witches and wizards and a renewed appreciation for the cultural mecca that is Mardi Gras.
