Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling outside of the USA. Please contact your insurance carrier for details.
Awesome Horizons Travel strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour; including the loss of deposits through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.
TRAVEL INSURANCE IS NONREFUNDABLE
Trip Cancellation - up to $20,000
Reimburses up to 100% of your prepaid, non-refundable trip expenses if you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason.
Trip Interruption - up to $30,000
Reimburses up to 150% of the unused, non-refundable portion of your trip expenses and the increased transportation costs it takes you to continue your trip or return home if you need to interrupt your trip for a covered reason.
Travel Delay - $1,200
Reimburses up to $200 per day per person for additional travel and lost prepaid expenses if your trip is delayed for five or more hours for a covered reason. Can also reimburse additional transportation expenses if you miss your cruise or tour because of a covered delay.
Emergency Medical/Dental - $50,000
This primary coverage provides reimbursements for expenses due to covered medical and dental emergencies that occur during your trip. No deductible. $750 maximum for emergency dental care.
Emergency Transportation - $500,000
Provides coverage for medically necessary transportation to the nearest appropriate facility following a covered illness or injury during your trip. Also covers the cost of your transportation back home following a covered illness or injury.
Baggage Loss/Damage - $1,500
Covers loss, damage, or theft of baggage and personal effects
Baggage Delay - $200
Reimburses the reasonable additional purchase of essential items during your trip if
your baggage is delayed or misdirected by a common carrier for 12 hours or more. Receipts for emergency purchases are required.
