Partnering with AmaWaterways, our unique watercolaor workshop cruise itinerary takes you to charming towns, fairytale castles, and festive markets, offering the opportunity for classroom-style instruction onboard with instructor Cindy Briggs.

From the charming  canals of Amsterdam to the historic streets of Strasbourg and the holiday stalls of Rüdesheim, you’ll capture the magic of the season with a paintbrush in hand. Explore quaint villages and iconic landmarks, all while taking in the history and winter beauty of the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Switzerland.

 About The Watercolor Workshop

Watercolor workshops will be half-day sessions, for up to four hours per day. These are not full day workshops. Instruction will take place onboard in a dedicated classroom space. These workshops are designed to compliment the travel experience, not take over the day--there will be no painting or instruction during the guided excursions, as our sessions will be scheduled afterward.

Deposit & Cancellation policy:

A deposit is required to secure your booking and final payment is due August 17, 2026. The deposit is $400 per person plus the workshop fee and 100% non-refundable. Final payment is due August 17th, 2026.

  • Required local permits and painting licenses in ports and cities

  • Support staff and on-site coordination throughout the workshop

  • Access to designated painting areas, both onboard and ashore
