DAY 1
15 OCT, 24: Tribe meets at EWR (Newark airport) for our non-stop flights to Johannesburg.
DAY 2
16 OCT, 24: ARRIVE IN Johannesburg (D)
Overnight: Da Vinci Hotel & Suite (2 nights)
DAY 3
17 OCT, 24: FULL DAY TOURING SOWETO & APARTHEID MUSEUM (B, L)
After an early breakfast, we depart our hotel on a full day tour of SOWETO, which is an acronym for South Western Township, home to over 3.5 million people. In Soweto, we will visit the Kliptown Open Air Museum and Regina Mundi Church, the site of many secret underground meetings of the then banned political parties. Stop at the Hector Peterson Memorial and discover the cause of the tragic riots which led to this child’s death. The journey includes a photo stop at Mandela House (no entrance included). Following lunch at Sakhumzis’ Restaurant, we continue our tour and visit the Apartheid Museum, a strong reminder of South Africa's past. The museum was created for us not to forget the atrocities of our past and never to be revisited. At the end of the tour, we transfer back to the hotel.
DAY 4
18 OCT, 24: TRANSFER TO PILANESBERG NATIONAL PARK (B, L, D)
Overnight: Bakubung Bush Lodge, (2 nights)
Today, we will travel north-west towards Pilanesberg National Park (approximately 2 hours). On arrival, we check in to our hotel. Following lunch at our lodge, we depart for an exciting afternoon game drive.

19 OCT, 24: ENJOY MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES (B, L, D)

20 OCT, 24: FLY TO CAPE TOWN AIRPORT (B
After breakfast, we transfer to the airport for the flight to Cape Town (airfare and transfers included in booking). Upon arrival at Cape Town airport, we will be met and transferred to the hotel the rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight: Southern Sun Waterfront, 4 star Hotel, (4 nights)
DAY 7
21 OCT, 24: CITY TOUR & DINNER AT GOLD RESTAURANT (B, D)
After a leisurely breakfast, we depart with our guide for a full day tour. Enjoy an orientation tour before taking a cable ride to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a view of the city. From there, drive by Parliament, City Hall & Slave Lodge, visit the Castle & Company's Garden, and drive through Bo Kaap & Malay Quarter take a complimentary diamond workshop tour before arriving at the hotel. Tonight, we enjoy dinner at Gold restaurant. Travel back to the hotel at the end of the tour.
DAY 8
22 OCT, 24: FULL DAY WINELANDS TOUR INCLUDING LUNCH (B, L)
After breakfast, we transfer to Franschhoek, where we will take a walking tour of the town. Next we drive by Huguenot Monument before arriving at a Franschhoek wine estate with wine tasting at a black-owned estate). Next, we proceed to Stellenbosch wine estate including a cellar tour, wine tasting and lunch. Afterwards, we take a Stellenbosch orientation tour before traveling back to our hotel.
DAY 9
23 OCT, 24: FULL DAY PENINSULA TOUR (B, L, D)
We depart from the hotel for another full day of sightseeing with our guide and driver. Enjoy a scenic drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise, passing through Camps Bay, Clifton, and the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno, before reaching the charming working harbor of Hout Bay. Upon arrival, we embark on an up-close-and-personal Seal Island cruise, weather permitting. Continuing our journey, we head to the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, an integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom. Take a ride up on the funicular for magnificent views. From there, we proceed to Simon’s Town for a lunch break at Bertha’s Restaurant before visiting the penguin colony at Boulder’s Beach. Our tour concludes at the hotel, and tonight, we walk with our guide to a local restaurant for our farewell dinner.
DAY 10
24 OCT, 24: HALF DAY ROBBEN ISLAND TOUR, DEPART CAPE TOWN (B)
8:15 am, After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and depart to the water front where we take a ferry ride to the Robben Island, which was served as a place of banishment, isolation and imprisonment from the 17th to the 20th centuries. Today it is a World Heritage Site and museum, a poignant reminder of the price paid for freedom. The excursion includes a return ferry to the island, a bus tour on the island and of the prison.
12:30 at the end of the tour, we take the ferry back to the V & A waterfront, where we will be transferred back to the hotel for a break (without access to our rooms).
