Katie's Travel Agency charges a cancellation fee of $250 or up to 10% of the package price to help cover the time and expertise that go into planning and booking your custom trip. Resort and travel supplier cancellation policies may also apply.
It is very important that you book within this room block to be included in all wedding activities and to ensure Meghan and Drew receive their group perks. Guests who book outside the group will be required to pay an additional per‑person fee to attend the wedding events, and Meghan and Drew may lose some of the benefits associated with their group booking.
A credit card will be required when booking your room, but it’s just to guarantee your reservation—no charges will be made right away for that portion. However, flights, airport transfers, excursions, and travel protection will be due in full at the time of booking.
The full payment for your stay will be automatically processed 30 days before arrival, so please make sure the card you use when booking has sufficient funds available around that time to avoid any issues. If the payment doesn't go through, your room may be cancelled, so please make sure the funds are there!
The resort does not allow partial or monthly payments, but the upside is that you’ll have extra time to save and plan ahead before the balance is due.
Please note that the resort does not accept Discover cards.
Your payment will be charged to the same card used at the time of booking—there’s no need to log back in or take any additional steps. If you need to update credit card info, please let me know ASAP.
I’ll also send out friendly reminders as we get closer to the 30-day mark so you don’t have to keep track of the date yourself!
💡 Pro Tip:
If you plan to use a debit card, double-check your daily spending limit or call your bank ahead of time to ensure the full payment can process smoothly.
Another great idea is to open a separate savings or travel account and transfer money into it each month. That way, the funds are ready when the final payment date rolls around—no stress, no scrambling.

Do I have to book through this page?
Yes! All guests should book through this group block to be included in the wedding events and to ensure Meghan and Drew receive their group perks. If you book elsewhere, the resort will charge an additional per-person fee to attend the wedding.
Can I stay for more or fewer nights than the options listed?
Absolutely! If you’d like to adjust your travel dates, just let me know and I’ll provide a customized quote based on your preferred length of stay.
Can you help with flights, excursions, or travel insurance?
Yes! I can add flights, private airport transfers, excursions, and travel protection to your package.
Simply email me at katie@katiestravelagency.com with what you’d like included.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Hey, life happens! Katie’s Travel Agency charges a cancellation fee of $250 or up to 10% of the total package price. This amount may automatically be charged if final payment is not made.
The resort and travel suppliers may also have their own separate cancellation policies that will apply in addition to mine.
Do I need a passport to travel to Mexico?
Yes — a valid passport is required for all travelers, and it must be valid for at least six months after your return date.
Can I bring kids to the wedding?
Absolutely! Hyatt Ziva Cancun is a family-friendly resort, and children are more than welcome.
If you’ll be traveling with kids, let me know so I can recommend the best room setup for your family. In many cases, booking two smaller rooms can make more sense (and sometimes costs less!) than one large suite.
Children ages 3–12 are priced at the child rate.
Babies under age 3 stay free with two paying adults.
Children 13+ are priced as adults.
Most rooms allow a maximum of 4 adults plus children. If your group includes 5 or more people, we’ll need to book two rooms or potentially a larger suite (if available).
I’m happy to walk you through the options to make sure your family is comfortable and gets the best value!
What if I have food allergies or special requests?
No problem at all! Let me know any dietary restrictions or special needs, and I’ll pass the information along to the resort to make sure you’re well taken care of.
Cheers!
Katie
