COVID: Due to the impact of COVID-19 and to unforeseeable ever-changing conditions on arrival, portions of your vacation package (such as flights, hotel amenities/services, excursions, ground transport, etc.) to be provided by third-party suppliers may be different than advertised, including being reduced, unavailable or subject to specific conditions. By booking, you understand and accept the foregoing and you agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Transat cannot be held liable for such changes. If Transat becomes aware of such changes in advance, it shall, in certain situations, promptly provide notification to you and offer a refund or comparable alternate travel services acceptable to you.

The Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC), which was the official currency used by travellers visiting Cuba, is no longer accepted. The Cuban Peso (CUP) is now the official currency. US $1 is equivalent to 24 CUP. In addition, neither American cash nor credit cards issued by an American institution will be accepted in Cuba. There are no automatic teller machines in Cuba. It is forbidden to bring receiver-transmitters (walkie-talkies) and electronic cigarettes into Cuba. Please note that hoteliers reserve the right to refuse a land-only reservation at time of check-in if passengers are not Canadians Residents. Some services might not be available in Cuba during summer. If you travel with sports equipment such as a bike, golf or kite board, a special transfer must be reserved prior to departure (fees apply).
