This Tour's Itinerary
- Day 1
- Board your spacious, video and restroom-equipped Motorcoach and set off for beautiful Vermont! Check into an en route hotel tonight for a good night's rest.
- Day 2
- After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for the President Taft National Historic Site. Later in the day, enjoy Dinner and check into your en route hotel.
- Day 3
- Today, after you enjoy a Continental Breakfast, you'll arrive in the beautiful state of Vermont! Dine at a local restaurant tonight before enjoying your four-night stay.
- Day 4
- After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you'll depart for the Shelburne Museum. NOT your typical museum, this OUTDOOR museum spans 45 acres with 39 antique buildings.
- See all this stunning attraction has to offer with ease! A shuttle circumnavigates their “campus” all day long. It takes about 15 minutes to do the circuit of this massive attraction, with whatever stops you like to get off at along the way to explore! It has a collection of 150,000 items, including circus pieces, toys, carriages, vehicles, furniture, and more. The buildings are arranged to welcome visitors and tell informal stories. The buildings include houses, a schoolhouse, a jail, a lighthouse, a railroad station, barns, and a 220-foot steamboat. Next, you'll head to downtown Burlington's Church Street Marketplace. This award-winning open-air mall is a hub of activity where you'll find architecture and over 100 places to shop and dine. This evening, enjoy a scenic Dinner Cruise on beautiful Lake Champlain, complete with entertainment and a dance floor.
- Day 5
- Today, you'll have a Continental Breakfast followed by a visit to the Vermont Granite Museum. Discover the science of granite and the heritage of Vermont's granite industry. During your visit, you'll have an opportunity to watch and speak to a resident sculptor as they work on a memorial and commemorative art project. Next, continue on a tour of the Hope Cemetery, known for the superb granite craftsmanship on its memorials. Then visit Montpelier, the State Capitol of Vermont. Upon arrival, you'll enjoy a visit to the Vermont History Museum. This afternoon, you'll enjoy a tour of the authentic Vermont Maple Farm: Goodrich's Maple Farm. For generations, this family-owned business has been producing high-quality maple syrup and maple products. Your visit includes The Sugarhouse for a tour and presentation, followed by free time to visit the gift shop and enjoy free samples. This evening, you'll enjoy a Dinner Party with Entertainment.
- Day 6
- After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you'll take a scenic drive to the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, one of the leading New England producers of fresh apple cider. Today, the mill produces more than one million gallons of cider every year. You'll also enjoy a taste of fresh apple cider while learning how it's made. Then you will visit Stowe Village, a charming New England village. Later, you will take a tour of the world-famous Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory. Nestled in Vermont's Green Mountains, this fully guided factory tour will show you the complete ice cream making process. After your tour, you'll be able to try a sample of their freshly made ice cream. This evening, dine at a local restaurant.

- Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for a visit to Saratoga Gaming. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.
- Day 8
- Today, after a Continental Breakfast, you'll depart for the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio -- a beautiful glass-enclosed botanical garden which also features an exquisite collection of glass sculptures. Tonight, relax in your en route hotel.

- Today, after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home... A perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you've done, the great sights you've seen, and where your next group trip will take you!
Attractions
William Howard Taft National Historic Site
Visit the William Howard Taft National Historic Site, the only memorial to the nation’s 27th President and 10th Chief Justice as part of this group bus tour. Sat atop a hill, the William Howard Taft National Historic Site is located in the Mount Auburn District, a once-affluent suburb about a mile north of downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. Established in 1969 and maintained by the National Park Service, this National Historic Site will expose visitors to the familial and social influences that shaped the characters and ideals of William Howard Taft, the only American who served as both President and Chief Justice of the United States.
In addition to its permanent displays, the Taft Education Center is home to temporary exhibits that provide a greater understanding of the significant roles the Taft family has played and the ways they have shaped lives around the world.

Shelburne Museum
With over 150,000 items in 39 buildings on beautifully landscaped grounds, the museum displays a variety of items including circus collections, textiles, toys, carriages, vehicles, furniture, and much more. Webb worked to relocate historic buildings to the museum’s 45 acres and began to display items inside the buildings to provide visitors with an immersive cultural experience. Webb died in 1960, and since then, the number of items in the museum’s collections has grown from 60,000 to over 150,000.
The Shelburne Museum store has unique gifts and souvenirs for all ages, and an additional artisan's shop carries handcrafted pottery, woodwork, jewelry, textiles, and home décor items.
Church Street Marketplace
The Church Street Marketplace in Burlington, Vermont, originated as a street fair in the 1970s. Over time, the area grew as it attracted more visitors, and today the award-winning pedestrian mall covers four blocks in the central square and is home to over 100 restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops. This open-air marketplace is located in the heart of Burlington, Vermont’s largest city, and it is located adjacent to the Church Street Historic District. Church Street Marketplace attracts over 3 million visitors each year.
If you have time, take a stroll along beautiful Lake Champlain, which is a short walk away from the marketplace. Also check out the nearby Historic District, home of the oldest buildings in the city that feature a range of impressive architectural styles, including Art Deco, Victorian, and modern.
Dinner Cruise on Lake Champlain
As the largest cruise ship on Lake Champlain, the Spirit of Ethan Allen III offers an unparalleled cruising experience. Based in Burlington, the first cruise ship to hit the water was the Spirit of Ethan Allen I, a 149-passenger paddle wheeler. In 2002, the Spirit of Ethan Allen III was introduced, a magnificent ship that is 140 feet long and can host up to 363 passengers at a time. It is the only floating restaurant and cruise ship on Lake Champlain, which provides a unique experience for visitors, and it is one of the largest banquet facilities in all of Vermont.

Vermont Granite Museum
The Vermont Granite Museum, located in Barre, Vermont, stands as a testament to the region's rich granite quarrying and sculpting heritage. Vermont History Museum
The Vermont Historical Society engages visitors in an exploration of the Green Mountain State’s rich heritage, with the belief that an understanding of the past changes lives and helps build better futures. The Vermont History Museum in Montpelier includes the core, interactive exhibit, and Freedom and Unity: One Ideal, Many Stories. These exhibits represent Vermont’s history from 1600 to the present. The museum also includes a Local History Gallery, rotating exhibits, and the mid-20th century mural by artist Paul Sample, Salute to Vermont, which depicts three and a half centuries of Vermont history, from 1609 to the late 1950s.
The museum is handicap accessible and has a gift shop for unforgettable souvenirs.
Goodrich's Maple Farms
Goodrich's Maple Farm is family-owned and operated in the heart of New York's Hudson Valley. The farm has been producing maple syrup for over 100 years and is now one of the largest producers of maple syrup in the United States. The farm is open to the public during the maple sugaring season, which typically runs from late February to early April. Visitors can tour the farm, learn about the maple sugaring process, and sample some of the farm's delicious maple products.
Goodrich's Maple Farm is not wheelchair accessible. The farm is located on a hill, and there are several steps leading up to the buildings. However, the farm staff is happy to assist visitors with disabilities in any way they can. There is a gift shop at Goodrich's Maple Farm where visitors can purchase maple products, as well as other items such as maple-themed clothing and souvenirs. The gift shop is open during the maple sugaring season.
Cold Hollow Cider Mill
This charming cider mill is one of Vermont’s most popular tourist attractions, and it’s not hard to see why. Founded in 1974 when the original owners started to make cider for friends, the mill has developed into one of the leading New England producers of fresh apple cider. The mill started as a small operation, but grew over the decades into a large production facility, with cold-storage rooms, bottling facilities, a jelly room, a bakery, and a general store. Visiting Cold Hollow Cider Mill is like taking a step back in time to witness Vermont farm life, and there is plenty to explore for visitors who stop by. Today, the mill produces more than one million gallons of cider every year, and it operates seven days a week during the peak fall season.

There is also a store to explore, where you can browse and purchase specialty cheeses, honey, maple syrup, crackers, beverages, and other Vermont specialties. There are also gift items and other novelties for purchase.
Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory
Founded in a renovated gas station in 1978, this Vermont icon has become famous around the country and internationally. Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield’s company is constantly developing new flavors for its customers and specializes in uniquely themed flavors. The company frequently releases new ice cream flavors that have a cultural, political, or social meaning or theme behind them, such as Cherry Garcia (named after the former lead singer of the Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia), but it also produces a wide variety of more traditional flavors. Today, the Ben & Jerry’s brand is worth over one billion dollars.

After the tour, check out the Scoop Shop where you can buy cones, milkshakes, and sundaes — or sample some new Ben & Jerry’s flavors. There is also a gift shop where you can purchase Ben & Jerry's-themed hats, t-shirts, and mugs.
Saratoga Casino and Raceway
Visit Saratoga Gaming and Raceway as part of this group bus tour. Located at 342 Jefferson Street in historic Saratoga Springs, New York, the Saratoga Gaming and Raceway is a half-mile standardbred race track and racino established in 1941 as a facility for American harness racing and is known as the third racetrack to have parimutuel betting. Franklin Park Conservatory
Delight in artfully designed gardens, exotic plant collections, and lush floral displays at the Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, Ohio, as part of this group motorcoach vacation package.
