  ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrivals, Evening Meet & Greet with the Roamies

Welcome to Cali! After checking into your room, take time to settle in and refresh from your travels. In the evening, gather with the Roamies for a relaxed welcome cocktail — the perfect chance to meet, mingle, and toast to the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Cali Fusion Tour - City Adventure  + Private Salsa Class

Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Cali on a guided city tour that brings its culture, history, and rhythm to life. Highlights include the Monument to Grupo Niche, Bulevar del Río, La Ermita and La Merced churches, the colorful San Antonio colonial neighborhood, El Gato del Río, and Parque Las Novias del Gato.

Along the way, we’ll stop at a charming local craft shop for unique, locally made souvenirs and enjoy a traditional regional snack. The day wraps up with a private salsa class — the perfect introduction to Cali’s signature rhythm and a fun warm-up for the unforgettable nights ahead.

Day 3: Comuna 20 Cultural Tour & Salsa Night at La Topa Tolondra

Step into the heart of Siloé, a dynamic neighborhood tucked away in Cali’s western mountains, and experience its powerful story of creativity, resilience, and community. Guided by locals, you’ll explore vibrant murals and thoughtfully designed cultural stations that reflect the neighborhood’s evolution and artistic voice. Along the way, you’ll gain meaningful insight into how art, music, and collaboration continue to shape this expressive cultural hub.

In the evening, it’s time to put your salsa steps into motion. We’ll head to the iconic La Topa Tolondra, a beloved Cali institution known for its welcoming atmosphere and deep connection to Afro-Antillean rhythms. Expect soulful music, joyful movement, and the kind of unforgettable, un-Googleable moments that can only be felt on the dance floor.

Day 4: Nature Immersion at Andoke Butterfly Sanctuary + Pandebono Workshop, Dancing Under the Stars at La Pergola

Begin the day surrounded by nature at the Andoke Butterfly Sanctuary, a peaceful haven where Colombia’s biodiversity comes to life. During a guided visit, you’ll stroll along lush garden paths, explore the butterfly laboratory to witness the remarkable transformation from cocoon to first flight, and discover Colombia’s six regions through a beautifully scaled map of the country spread across the sanctuary grounds.

After this immersive experience, we’ll shift from nature to flavor with a hands-on Pandebono Workshop. Learn the history and traditions behind this beloved Colombian bread — recently named the best bread in the world by TasteAtlas — as you prepare it from scratch, working with local ingredients and time-honored techniques.

As evening falls, we’ll head to La Pérgola Clandestina, one of Cali’s most celebrated nightlife spots. Dance under the stars to a mix of rhythms, take in sweeping mountain views, and connect with locals in this open-air setting that perfectly captures the city’s vibrant, joyful energy.

Day 5: Farewell Breakfast + Departures

Our time together in Cali winds down with a final breakfast shared among friends. Exchange hugs, stories, and maybe a few last dance moves before heading to the airport. Depart with memories, connections, and the rhythm of Cali still in your heart.

 FAQS:

Who Should Join This Trip?

This experience is for travelers who want to feel the heartbeat of a city, not just see it. If the idea of dancing to live salsa in the world’s capital of rhythm, learning traditions straight from locals, and sharing laughter with a small group of like-minded Roamies excites you, this trip is for you. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with friends, all you need is a love of culture, an adventurous spirit, and a willingness to say yes to unforgettable nights and joyful days.

Do I need to know how to dance salsa to join this trip?
Not at all. This experience is for everyone — whether you’ve been dancing for years or have never stepped onto a salsa floor. A beginner-friendly salsa class is included, and the focus is on fun, not perfection.

What’s the weather like in Cali in July?
Cali has warm, tropical weather year-round. Expect daytime temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s °F, with mild evenings that are perfect for enjoying the city’s nightlife.

How physically active is this trip?
The trip is not strenuous, but it does include walking tours, dancing, and some standing during activities. Travelers should be comfortable walking short distances and being on their feet for portions of the day. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Is Cali safe for travelers?
Like any major city, being aware of your surroundings is important. Throughout the trip, you’ll be with local guides and the group for all scheduled activities, and accommodations have been selected in a safe, central area. Safety and logistics are thoughtfully managed so you can focus on enjoying the experience.

Is travel insurance required?

While travel insurance is not required, it is strongly recommended. Insurance can help protect your investment in the event of trip cancellation, medical emergencies, flight delays, or lost luggage. While we do not sell insurance, we’re happy to guide you to a trusted provider. A signed waiver is required if you choose to decline coverage.

When is the final payment due?

Your trip must be paid in full by May 15, 2026.  You’ll receive reminders along the way to keep you on track.
