Depart Hamburg and head to the city of Lübeck, former capital of the mighty Hanseatic League that served as the trade hub of Northern Europe. Today, the picturesque town is a jewel of Brick-Gothic architecture, full of medieval charm and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin your Lubeck tour with Holstentor gate, the city's most famous landmark, guarding the entrance to the Old Town. Proceed to the historic Altstadt (Old Town) and walk along cobbled streets with rows of Renaissance gabled houses. Admire St. Mary’s church, a 13th-14th century structure, that served as a model for the Gothic brick style of churches around the Baltic region. The church boasts the highest brick-vaulted roof in the world. Marvel at one of Germany's most beautiful town halls the Rathaus with its blend of Gothic and Romanesque architecture.

BERLIN BY NIGHT WITH DINNER - Day 5

Famous both in the early 20th Century world of "Cabaret," and now once again in the 21st for its vibrant night life, enjoy a fun filled “Berlin Style” dinner party with traditional dishes, drinks and live music. As dusk falls, admire some of the highlights of Germany’s largest city on an evening drive before returning to the hotel.

BERLIN'S HIDDEN PAST - Day 6

Embark on a fascinating tour into Berlin's turbulent past. Your knowledgeable guide makes Berlin's history come alive as you delve beneath the surface to see what remains of the city of the latter part of the 20th century. The tour will bring you to the East Side Gallery, a preserved colourful section of the wall, now one of the longest open air art galleries in the world. Next visit the Berlin Wall Memorial, and later the Topography of Terror, an exhibition located on the former site of the Gestapo Headquarters.

DACHAU MEMORIAL TOUR - Day 10

Dachau Concentration Camp was the first of the internment camps opened after Hitler’s rise to power in 1933. The camp became a symbol and model of the horrors of the Nazi period, until its liberation by American soldiers in 1945. It serves now as a memorial to the victims of this tragic period in history. The tour will give you the opportunity to reflect on the events that happened here and the more than 40,000 victims who lost their lives under the tyrannical Nazi regime.
