Itinerary - Ten Day East African Experience 

5th April 2024: ARRIVAL

 

Meet and assist at the airport, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) then Transfer to the hotel

 

6th April 2024: NAIROBI CITY TOUR

Early morning pick-up for city tour featuring:

• Giraffe Centre (Home to the endangered Roth’s-child giraffe),

• David Sheldrick elephant orphanage (Visit rescued baby elephants)

• National Museum (All of Kenya’s history under one roof)

 

7th April 2024: NAIROBI UNWIND DAY

Late Morning pick up for a Sunday Brunch. Later on, visit the Bomas of Kenya for cultural dances Later on, drop off at the hotel.

 

8th April 2024 – 10th April 2024: (3 DAYS MASAI MARA SAFARI)

 

8th: Pick up from hotel transfer to the airport for a Mara Bound Flight. The flight is 1 hour. Upon landing check into the hotel and engage in an afternoon gamedrive. Enjoy the sundowner over a cup of African Tea at the Lodge

 

9th: If doing the hot air Balloon, depart camp at 5:30 am for the balloon Experience, then Bush breakfast and champagne afterward. If not, have breakfast at 7:00am in the camp, then Depart camp for a full day comprehensive game-drive into the vast reserve. The day is spent tracking, learning and viewing wildlife. Picnic lunch will be served under a lone tree in the reserve, usually near Mara River. Afternoon and evening game drives take us through the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve as we exit the reserve to campsite for refreshment, dinner and overnight.

 

10th: Have breakfast at 7:30am at the camp then check out as you visit the Masai Village. Transfer to the airstrip for a Nairobi bound flight. In Nairobi, Transfer to the hotel, sample Nairobi and her culture, food, shopping or relax at the hotel

 

11th April 2024- 15th April 2024 (5 DAYS ZANZIBAR BEACH GETAWAY)

 

11th : Airport transfer to JKIA for a Zanzibar-bound flight. This Flight is approximately 90 minutes.

 

At Zanzibar: Arrival at Zanzibar Airport, transfer to your hotel stay, Beach life, later on for dinner and overnight.

 

12th, 13th and 14th are for Excursions, indulge in any excursion you find interesting. You will do them in the order that the ground guide advises, depending on the group needs:

 

1. Authentic Stone Town Walking Tour - Most popular (3 hrs)

Let's walk the streets of Stone Town together and customize the tour based on what you're interested in! We'll walk the path of the slave trade and peak at the antiques and souvenirs in the Stone Town markets. We'll make sure no stone is left unturned.

2. Prison Island Tour - Most popular (3-4 hrs)

Just a short trip from Stone Town, you'll visit the white sandy beaches and beautiful coral reefs of Prison Island. You'll be amazed by giant land tortoises which you'll be able to feed.

3. Baraka Aquarium (3 hrs)

Join me on this healing journey to the Baraka Sea turtle rehabilitation aquarium. The Baraka team rescues turtles who have attained wounds from attacks and boating incidents while in the ocean. The turtles are then transported to the aquarium to heal and eventually released back to their ocean homes. During the tour, you will learn all about sea turtles while in their natural habitat. You will get to swim with and feed them on this amazing journey. After nurturing the turtles, we will head to Nungwi Beach for some sun and relaxation! While at the beach, we will dine at a locally owned restaurant and you will taste some of the best seafood and freshly squeezed juice on the Island!

4. Village Cultural Tour (6 hrs)

This tour gives you an insight into the Swahili lifestyle. A full-day tour drives you to the fabrication of Zanzibar wooden curved doors, a drive to Mkokotoni, and the famous fishing village. Here you'll see the fish market and busy fishermen as we discover the history of Tumbatu Island. We'll head to Nungwi village to see wooden dhows, discover the sea turtles and relax.

5. The Rock, Zanzibar (2 hrs)

Dine at the little restaurant, On a rock, in the Ocean. This is a cool way to enjoy Swahili cuisine at the limited pax restaurant by the Beach, if during low tide you walk if during high tide you use a boat

I recommend obtaining a Classic Policy and adding Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage to obtain the maximum protection, (The Classic Policy is a good level of coverage as well). Cancellation Policy:
Initial & 2nd Deposits are non-refundable, and are not able to be transferred to any other person, or trip, under any circumstance.  At final payment the final trip requests must be made in writing and cancellation fees must be paid before trips are cancelled. Travel Protection is HIGHLY recommended, as some suppliers only refund in the form of a future travel credit and it may prevent you from paying cancellation fees.

  • All pricing is based on double occupancy unless otherwise noted in your selection
  • Valid passport books with a minimum of 6 month validity are required for international travel (passport cannot expire within 6 months of the last day of your trip). Passengers can be denied boarding at their own expense if passport books are not valid.
  • Deposits  are non-refundable and non transferable 
  • Rates/prices listed are not guaranteed until your registration & payment is received and processed. If the price changes you will be notified before your payment is processed to confirm the new rate.
  • Payments are not automatically submitted to the supplier. Please factor in the agency’s business hours, as well as the time you submit payment authorizations, as your trip can cancel and/or your rate be forfeit if payment is not received within a timely manner.
  • Prices quoted include listed components, please contact agent to add on additional components which will have an additional cost.
  • Room/view upgrades and custom packages are available, contact agent to identify your needs.
  • Deposits are nonrefundable, please review terms & conditions and consider travel protection to protect your vacation investment
  • If clients do not purchase travel protection, they are responsible for all penalty, change, and cancellation fees, as well as refund policies from the supplier (some suppliers only issue refunds in the form of a future travel credit without travel protection)
  • If Double  or Triple Occupancy is selected, all guests must pay their deposit payment on the same date, as a full deposit from all guests on a reservation is needed to confirm a reservation.

  • Itinerary and Confirmation email will go out at least 2 weeks before your arrival date. 
  • Transportation services are only provided for travelers flying into  and out of NBO 
  • As a condition of utilizing all/any services suggested and/or booked by Prissi Travels, you VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS related to Covid-19 exposure.  You further AGREE that you SHALL NOT SUE OTHERWISE HOLD LIABLE Prissi Travels, its owners, employees, agents, insurers, and any relevant tour operators, travel agencies, and travel agent for any Covid-19-related illness, injury, death, losses, or damages of any kind of nature whatsoever. 
  • This Assumption of Risk and Covenant Not to Sue applies to all travelers including but not limited to any minor children for whom an adult guest or visitor is a parent, guardian, or is otherwise responsible for.  This Assumption of Risk and Covenant Not to Sue shall be LEGALLY BINDING.  Should any guest or visitor bring a claim, suit, or any other action in violation of this provision, the claim, suit, or other action shall be DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE (meaning permanently dismissed) and all costs of dismissal, including but not limited to reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, shall be borne by the party who wrongfully brought the claim, suit or other action in violation of this Assumption of Risk and Covenant Not to Sue.

Prissi Travels  shall not be liable, for any personal injury, property damage, inconvenience, loss of time, or any other loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising out of any act, omission or negligence of any direct air carrier, motor coach company, hotel or any other person rendering any service or providing any accommodation or event in conjunction with the travel package. Prissi Travels  shall not be liable, for any injury, loss or damage, direct or indirect, sustained as a result of theft, accident, mechanical breakdown, Government action (Deployment), weather, act of God, pandemics, epidemic, failure to make timely payments, or any other reason that is beyond our control.

Cancellation Policy 

All Deposits are non-refundable and and are not able to be transferred to any other person or trip under any circumstance.  If final payments are not received by the due date your trip will be canceled, and all payments forfeit. All cancellations and changes must be requested in writing to info@prissitravels.com. If a valid charge is disputed after any payment is made, you will be contacted in a good faith effort to rectify the situation, but should the client be unwilling to notify the financial institution of the invalid dispute, you will be terminated as a client immediately, refused any future service by Prissi Travels, and may face legal action.

Pricing is subject to change until the full deposit is paid and processed.
