Below is the important Know Before You Go Information for traveling to Canada.
- Your passport MUST be valid for 6 months AFTER your travels to Canada (Must have an expiration date of March 1, 2025 or later).
- Cannabis/ Marijuana are NOT ALLOWED in Canada, even if prescribed by your doctor. This is a serious offense in Canada.
- No weapons or firearms of any kind, including POCKET KNIVES, are allowed in Canada.
- If you have a prior DWI/DUI or a past criminal charge Visit https://travel.gc.ca/ for all rules, regulations, and information about customs and border control to make sure you are eligible to enter Canada.
- Please take a Visa or Mastercard with you (Discover and American Express are NOT widely accepted in Canada). Don't forget to call your credit card company to let them know you are traveling!
- Make copies of both sides of your credit cards, your passport, and any other important documents.
- Check with your local bank to order Canadian Dollars.
- We will be checking passports before boarding the bus.
- Contact your cell phone provider to see if your plan will allow you to make calls from Canada or if you need to purchase an international package.
- Day 1
- Depart your group's location in a spacious, video and restroom-equipped motorcoach as you head for your destination: captivating, awe-inspiring Niagara Falls! This evening, you will check into an en route hotel and relax for the evening.
- Day 2
- After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will depart for the Kentucky Derby Museum. Later in the day, enjoy Dinner and check into your en route hotel.
- Day 3
- Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before continuing towards your destination. Later, enjoy a relaxing Dinner and check into your Niagara Falls area hotel for four nights.
- Day 4
- Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before you begin a Guided Tour of the Niagara Falls area. Visit an engineering marvel, the Welland Shipping Canal and beautiful Queen Victoria Park – home of one of the world's largest Floral Clocks. You'll have Dinner this evening at a local restaurant.
- Day 5
- Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before departing for an additional Guided Tour of the Niagara Falls area. Later, you'll enjoy an additional visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake for free time and shopping. Tonight, you will dine at a local restaurant.
- Day 6
- Start the day with a Continental Breakfast before enjoying one of Niagara's most popular and breath-taking attractions, a boat ride on a “Hornblower Niagara Cruise.” Sail near the base of the Horseshoe Falls and enjoy a truly awe-inspiring view of the mighty Niagara. Then, you'll take a tour of historical Niagara-on-the-Lake, one of the prettiest towns in Canada and full of 19th century charm. Later, enjoy Dinner and a visit to exciting Fallsview Casino and get in some gaming action before returning to your hotel.
- Day 7
- Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Made in America Store in Elma, NY. Later that day, after a relaxing Dinner, you'll check into your en route hotel.
- Day 8
- After enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will go to the President Taft National Historic Site. Tonight, relax in your en route hotel.
- Day 9
- Today after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home... a time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you've done, the great sights you've seen and where your next group trip will take you!
Kentucky Derby Museum
During your visit to the Kentucky Derby Museum, learn about the rich history and timeless traditions of the Kentucky Derby and Thoroughbred racing and see "The Greatest Race," a unique presentation that will put you in the heart of the Kentucky Derby action. Then enjoy a historic 30-minute guided tour of Churchill Downs which includes a visit with equine residents in Churchill Downs' backyard paddock.
- In addition to its permanent exhibits, the Kentucky Derby Museum features rotating exhibits in the Matt Winn Gallery on the second floor of the Museum.
