Portugal Inner Bliss Retreat 2026

Join us for an unforgettable week of wellness, connection, and Portuguese charm as we journey from the vibrant streets of Lisbon to the serene coastal beauty of Comporta.

Our retreat begins with one night in Lisbon, where we'll gather for a welcome dinner and immerse ourselves in Portuguese culture through a traditional tile-making workshop - a beloved local art form that has graced Portuguese homes and buildings for centuries.

From there, we retreat to the enchanting village of Comporta for five restorative nights. Often called Portugal's best-kept secret, Comporta is an authentic seaside village where time moves slower and life feels simpler. With its endless stretches of wild, unspoiled beaches, traditional whitewashed buildings, fragrant pine forests, and sprawling rice paddies, Comporta embodies a rare blend of natural beauty and understated Portuguese charm. This is a place where locals still ride horses through town, where the focus is on fresh seafood and locally grown ingredients, and where the pace of life invites you to truly unwind. It's the perfect setting for our retreat - remote enough to feel like an escape, yet rich with authentic culture and stunning landscapes to explore.

We'll call Quinta da Comporta home for these five nights - a boutique property that perfectly captures the essence of Comporta's laid-back luxury. Set among cork trees and rice fields, Quinta da Comporta offers an intimate, tranquil atmosphere with beautifully designed spaces that blend traditional Portuguese architecture with modern comfort. The property's serene grounds, outdoor yoga spaces, and proximity to both the village and beach make it an ideal sanctuary for our wellness practices and group connection.

You will have the option to extend your journey to explore the beautiful city of Porto after the retreat!

Places to see Porto, Portugal

After our time in Comporta, continue your Portuguese journey north to the magnificent city of Porto. Our scenic transfer includes two captivating stops along the way, transforming travel time into part of the adventure.

En Route to Porto:

We'll pause for one hour in Óbidos, a charming medieval town nestled within ancient castle walls that offers a journey back in time. Cobblestone streets wind through whitewashed houses adorned with colorful flowers, leading to stunning views from the historic Óbidos Castle. Don't miss the opportunity to try the town's signature cherry liqueur, Ginja, traditionally served in chocolate cups.

Next, we'll stop for two hours in Coimbra, Portugal's former capital and a riverfront city steeped in history. Home to the prestigious University of Coimbra - built on the grounds of a former palace - the city is famed for its baroque Biblioteca Joanina library and 18th-century bell tower. Wander the preserved medieval old town and visit the 12th-century Romanesque cathedral Sé Velha before enjoying lunch on your own at one of Coimbra's authentic local restaurants.

In Porto:

Porto is a fascinating and vibrant city rapidly becoming one of Western Europe's most celebrated destinations. This historic city captivates visitors with its warren of narrow streets in the ancient Ribeira district, grand plazas, and the iconic Douro River lined with centuries-old port wine cellars. We will spend 2 nights at the Hotel Maison Albar Le Monumental Palace

Half-Day Walking Tour of Porto  Explore Porto's extensive history and captivating sites with a private English-speaking guide during this 4-hour walking tour. Wander through the city's diverse neighborhoods - from the charming Ribeira district to the elegant Trindade plaza - and discover what makes Porto so special. The tour concludes with a tasting of the region's famous Port wine, still stored and matured in the vast cellars stretching along the banks of the Douro River.
