HOW TO BOOK YOUR RESERVATION

 
*If you are booking on the same reservation as someone else and you each want to be responsible for your own payments, select 1 traveler on your form and add a note to the comment section of your booking form requesting that your reservation be merged.  Be sure to include the name of the person that your reservation should be merged with.  Initially, your reservation will calculate the single occupancy rate for whatever package that you select.  Once your reservations are merged, you will receive an updated invoice reflecting the correct occupancy and rate.*
 
Step 1: Review the terms and conditions below.  Booking your package signifies your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
 
Step 2: Scroll down to view the different room categories.  The "Starting At” price for each room category reflects the triple occupancy rate (if three people are sharing a room) for 3 nights.  That is the per-person rate.  Single and double occupancy rates are different.  You will see the exact price for your specific package once you select your travel dates and the number of travelers.
 
Step 3: Click on the "book now" button next to the room category of your choice.
 
Step 4: You will see two drop-down menus under "Select travelers & dates".  Enter the number of adults (not children) that will be rooming with you, as well as your desired travel dates. 
 
Step 5: If you are not booking with a child, please skip to step 6.  Scroll down to Add extra options to add children to your reservation.  First, check the box that matches the number of nights that you are booking.  Then use the drop-down to select the number of children.

Step 6: Scroll further down the "Add Extra Options" section to add travel insurance to your package (highly recommended!).  Travel insurance policies are per person so if there are two people on your reservation, you will need to select two policies using the drop down menu.  Travel insurance must be paid in full at the time of booking.  This will NOT be included on your reservation unless you select it as an add-on.  Feel free to purchase third-party travel insurance of your preference.
 
Step 7: Prior to clicking on the "continue to traveler info" button on the right side, please scroll up to review that you have 1) Selected the correct number of travelers, 2) Have your desired travel dates, 3) Ensure that you have the correct room category selected, and 4) Added insurance
 
Step 8: Review the summary of your reservation on the right and click "continue to traveler info" if it matches what you would like to book.
 
Step 9: Enter the primary traveler's information here.  Typically that would be the person taking care of the payments.  Once terms and conditions are signed for the primary traveler, the "additional traveler" tab(s) need to be completed for each additional person on the reservation.  Add the child(ren) to the additional traveler's form.
 
Step 10: Click "continue to payment" and submit your payment.  Please note that our system uses SSL encryption, which is the same technology banks use to protect sensitive information.
 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Booking this package signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.

  • All payments to Royal Destinations LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable to another trip nor a person already booked.
  • Your reservation must be made in your full name as it appears on your passport.
  • Failure to receive your passport prior to departure will result in all money being forfeited unless you add travel protection. 
  • If you purchased insurance and cancel, you will have to file a claim directly with the travel insurance company for your refund.
  • Transfers of funds to persons already booked is not allowed.
  • Every traveler is responsible for the ever changing COVID requirements for the airline, destinations, and hotel. Royal Destinations will do their best to keep you up to date on travel updates, but is not liable for providing COVID requirements.
  • Bedding preference is a request, we do not guarantee your bedding but we will request your preference. Your price is based on the room category and not bedding.

FAQ

1) Can I book on my own or through my own travel agent? No. You MUST book your reservation within the contracted room block through Royal Destinations. You can not book through another source. They are at your service.
 
2) Is airfare included in the rates provided? No, airfare to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is not included in the rates.
 
3) Do I need a passport to travel? A valid passport is required for travel to Cabo. If you need to apply for a passport, please go to www.travel.state.gov.
 
4) Do you recommend that I arrive on a specific date? It is best to arrange travel a day or two prior to the wedding day. We do not advise arriving on the wedding day. You also may not want to leave the morning after all of the festivities. We recommend giving yourself a day to relax after the wedding day.
 
5) Is there a minimum required stay? Yes. The minimum required stay is 3 nights (Example: November 21, 2024 - November 24, 2024 or November 22, 2024 - November 25, 2024). There is no maximum.
 
6) Can I make the initial $100 deposit at a later date or do I have to make it on the date listed on the website? Your initial $100 deposit serves as your RSVP and is required no later than November 1, 2023.
 
7) What if I am ready to make my deposit, but my roommate is not? All travelers are required to make their initial deposit before a reservation is created.
 
8) What happens if I do not make any payments until after the final payment date listed? The payment plan expires after the final payment date listed. If rooms are still available, you would have to pay in full in order to book a reservation after the final payment date.
 
9) Is one person responsible for payments, or can each person in the room pay for themselves? Roommates can coordinate payments as they please. Each person can make their own payments by completing separate payment forms, or one person can make payments for all parties using one form.
 
10) If I book a single room now, am I able to add someone to the room at a later date? Yes. Your initial reservation will reflect the total cost for a single occupancy room. Send us a message through your invoice with the full name(s) and date of birth(s) of the person(s) that you would like to add.  Once your roommate is added, your reservation will be modified to double occupancy and the updated rate will reflect the double occupancy rate.
 
11) If I book a room category now, am I able to upgrade or downgrade in the future? Yes. As long as that room category is available, you can upgrade or downgrade.
 
12) Can I change my travel dates at any time? As long as the dates are not sold out, you can change your travel dates without penalty up to two weeks prior to travel.
 
13) How do I request a modification to my reservation? All modifications must be requested in writing.  You can either send a message through your invoice/trip, or email travel@royaldestinationsny.com. Change requests can not be made via telephone.
 
14) Can I stay at a different resort and just attend the wedding? No. In order to attend the wedding, you MUST stay at the hosted resort.
 
15) Are payments refundable or transferrable? Deposits and ALL payments made to Royal Destinations LLC are non-refundable and non-transferable UNLESS travel insurance is purchased. This is because Royal Destinations has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines, cruises, and other vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds. This way we can keep our package prices competitive, and allow you to make monthly payments toward your reservation.
 
16) Should I purchase travel insurance? Yes! Travel protection is HIGHLY recommended. It allows you to cancel and get a refund per the terms of the insurance policy selected. A vacation is a huge investment and you should protect it!
 
17) How do I purchase Travel Insurance? You will have to option to add travel insurance to your package during your initial booking, under "add extra options".  Please note that insurance plans cover one person. If there are two people in your room then two insurance policies would have to be purchased. Use the drop-down menu to select the number of policies (people in your room) that apply to your reservation. Payment for travel insurance is due in full at the time of booking.
 
18) When is my final payment due? The final payment date is NO LATER than 5 pm on July 16, 2024.
 
19) What happens if I make my payment after July 16, 2024? A late fee of $100 per person will apply if your payment is submitted anytime after July 16, 2024 and your reservation is subject to automatic cancellation.
 
20) If I miss the initial deposit date or any payments in the payment plan will I have to pay a late fee? No. The only time a late payment fee will apply is after the final payment date. No other payment dates will incur a late payment fee.
 
21) Do I have to follow the payment plan or can I make payments anytime, in the amount that I please? Whether you wish to pay more or less, you can customize the amount that you wish to pay. Also, payments can be made at any time. As long as 50% of your total reservation balance is paid by May 14, 2024, and 75% is paid by June 14, 2024, you can customize payments as you please.
 
22) What is the best way to contact Jovi, the travel agent/wedding planner? Emailing Travel@royaldestinationsny.com is the best way to contact us, as you will likely get a reply within minutes during business hours. We service large groups, so our phone lines are often occupied. If you prefer to call, please feel free to. If we are unavailable at the time, please leave a detailed message and we will get back to you within 24 hours. You can also email us to schedule a call.
