Terms & Conditions

We are Mixed Luggage Travel Company and are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Mixed Luggage Travel Company and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.

1. CANCELLATION:
Please be aware that most travel bookings are non-refundable and cancelled bookings will incur charges. These charges can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced. Where we incur any liability for a cancellation fee or charge for any booking which you cancel, you agree to indemnify us for the amount of that fee or charge.

2. DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT:
Minimum $150 per person nonrefundable deposit required at time of booking. Most airfares or services must be paid in full at the time of booking. Third Party Service Providers may have additional/more restrictive terms. Final Payments are due no less than 60 days prior to travel, unless specified differently. When making partial payments, be mindful of the amounts, refunds for overpayments will be subject to minimum 3% bank fee.

3. AGENCY SERVICE FEES & BOOKING MODIFICATIONS:
Mixed Luggage Travel Company may charge service fees for travel planning, itinerary revisions, consultation services, post-booking support, reservation modifications, cancellations, and other administrative services. Service fees vary based on the complexity, timing, and scope of the request and will be communicated when applicable.

Requests to modify existing reservations, including but not limited to changes in travel dates, flights, hotels, transfers, tours, passenger information, or other travel arrangements, may incur an agency service fee in addition to any supplier-imposed penalties, cancellation fees, fare differences, or other charges.

Requests made within 30 days ("last-minute") of departure may be subject to a minimum service fee of $150 per booking. Service fees compensate the agency for research, supplier coordination, administrative work, and processing time and are non-refundable once work has commenced.

4. AIRLINE/AIRFARE:

Airline tickets are 100% nonrefundable and nontransferable. Flight schedules are at the discretion of the airline and are subject to change (even once ticketed) with or without notice. Seat Assignments are subject to change with or without notice. Please arrive to the airport 2 hours early for domestic flights and 3 hours early for international flights. Failure to comply with all of the above may result in the loss of the seat to another passenger.

5. TRAVEL INSURANCE:

For your protection, we strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, and travel delays. Mixed Luggage Travel Company is not an insurance provider and makes no guarantees regarding coverage, benefits, or claim outcomes under any insurance policy. It is your responsibility to review the policy terms and determine whether the coverage meets your needs. Any claims must be submitted directly to the insurance provider and are subject to the insurer's terms, conditions, and claim procedures.

6. ADDITIONAL FEES:

Additional taxes, resort fees, surcharges, parking fees, one-way vehicle rental fees, vehicle drop-off charges, and other supplier-imposed fees may be collected directly by hotels, car rental companies, airlines, tour operators, or other travel suppliers and may not be included in the quoted price. Most hotels and vehicle rental companies require a valid credit card at check-in or vehicle pick-up to cover incidental charges, security deposits, or other authorized holds. For international travel, please check with your credit card issuer regarding foreign transaction fees, currency conversion fees, and international usage policies, as additional charges may apply when purchases are made outside the United States. When making partial payments, please verify payment amounts carefully. Refunds for overpayments may be subject to a minimum 3% bank processing fee.

7. TRAVEL DOCUMENT REVIEW:
It is your responsibility to review all invoices, confirmations, itineraries, passenger names, travel dates, and other travel documents immediately upon receipt. Any errors, omissions, or discrepancies must be reported to Mixed Luggage Travel Company within 24 hours of receipt. Failure to notify us may result in additional supplier fees or penalties for which you are solely responsible.

8. PASSPORTS/REAL ID:
It is your responsibility to obtain and carry all required travel documentation, including passports, visas, vaccination records, and any other entry or transit requirements applicable to your itinerary. Many countries require passports to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the date of entry or return. Travelers should verify all documentation requirements with the appropriate government authorities prior to departure. For domestic air travel within the United States, travelers age 18 and older must present a REAL ID-compliant driver's license, state-issued enhanced driver's license, passport, or another TSA-accepted form of identification. Mixed Luggage Travel Company is not responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, delays, or additional costs resulting from insufficient or invalid travel documentation.

9. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of any health requirements for your travel destinations and to ensure that you carry all necessary vaccination documentation.

10. BAGGAGE FEES:
Baggage allowances, restrictions, and fees vary by airline, fare type, route, and frequent flyer status. Additional charges may apply for checked baggage, carry-on baggage, overweight bags, oversized bags, sports equipment, and specialty items. It is your responsibility to review your airline's baggage policies prior to travel. Mixed Luggage Travel Company is not responsible for baggage fees or airline baggage policy changes.

11. RESPONSIBILITY:

However, Mixed Luggage Travel Company and its contractors, officers, agents, and assigns do not own or operate any entity that provides goods and services for your travel, including without limitation lodging facilities, airline, vessel, motor coach, or other transportation companies, guides or guide services, local ground operators, providers, or organizers of optional excursions, food service providers, etc. All such persons and entities are independent contractors and are in no way affiliated to Mixed Luggage Travel Company or any of its affiliated entities.

12. LIABILITY:

13. CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS:

If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted, your remedy lies against the provider, and not against Mixed Luggage Travel Company, and in the event that payment has been made to Mixed Luggage Travel Company by credit card, you agree that you will not seek to charge back your payment to Mixed Luggage Travel Company. If the credit card is passed through to the travel service provider and you seek to chargeback your payment from the provider, you agree to be held liable and indemnify Mixed Luggage Travel Company against this chargeback from the provider, including without limitation any air debit memos charged to or Mixed Luggage Travel Company. If Mixed Luggage Travel Company incurs any costs, including but not limited to attorneys' fees to recover any payments charged back by your credit card company, you agree that you will be liable for these costs. If the credit card is declined, you guarantee that you will settle any amounts owing to Mixed Luggage Travel Company via money order or cash immediately.

14. FORCE MAJEURE:

Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions may be provided electronically, by written or email confirmation, by payment of an invoice, or through the use of services arranged by Mixed Luggage Travel Company. Any such acceptance shall constitute a legally binding agreement and shall have the same force and effect as a handwritten signature. You agree to contact Mixed Luggage Travel Company directly to resolve any concerns regarding charges, invoices, or services before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your credit card issuer.
