COVID-19:
As of April 1, 2022, all passengers and crew members do not need to present a COVID-19 Vaccination Card, PCR, or antigen test to enter Costa Rica or to enter tourist centers, any establishments or to receive services such as excursions. Random COVID-19 testing for passengers and crew upon arrival in Costa Rica will no longer be performed. However, when required, random testing operations may be performed. Passengers who present their Vaccination Card will be exempted from random testing.
As of 12:01AM ET on June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.
Although not required, it is recommended that you still get tested before and after travel.
Monkeypox:
During your travel, you may be subject to procedures at your destination put in place to limit the spread of monkeypox, such as isolation, should you become infected.
