TRAVEL DOCUMENTATIONS
For cruises that begin and end in a U.S port, the following WHTI-Compliant Documents are acceptable for cruise travel. These standard forms of documentation will enable the Department of Homeland Security to quickly and reliably identify a traveler. If a picture I.D. is not affixed to the WHTI-compliant document, a picture I.D. is required (a valid, unexpired government-issued photo I.D. for all guests 16 years of age or older). If the cruise includes air travel to or from Canada, a valid, unexpired U.S. passport is required.
For cruises that visit Martinique, guests going ashore are required to carry a valid, unexpired passport.
Also acceptable for cruise travel (for cruises that begin and end in a U.S port), U.S. citizens can show proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate issued by a government agency and accompanied by government-issued photo identification. If the cruise includes air travel to or from Canada, a valid, unexpired U.S. passport is required. Birth Certificate Information
The following are acceptable:
Birth certificates from Puerto Rico issued prior to July 1, 2010, are not valid forms of proof of citizenship and are not accepted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Guests from Puerto Rico either need to present a WHTI-compliant document or a government-issued photo I.D. with a validated birth certificate issued after July 1, 2010.

Unacceptable Forms of Documentation
These and Your Booking Confirmation are the Terms and Conditions under which You book Your cruise holiday and travel on any Carnival Cruise Line product We sell You. Once We have received the first payment towards Your cruise holiday, a legally binding agreement on these Terms and Conditions becomes effective between all guests on Your booking(s) and Us. By making a payment, you represent that You accept and have authority from all guests (or their parent/ legal guardian) on Your booking(s) to accept on their behalf, these Terms and Conditions. Parents/legal guardians accept these Terms and Conditions on behalf of their children.
Guest Changes: Name changes or additions are allowed at Carnival Cruise Lines discretion. Name changes are subject to cancellation charges and any rate increases. There is a service fee for any correction involving names, and for any changes to departure cities on Fly-Aweigh guests, and/or for any changes made on pre or post cruise packages within 60 days of sailing. For such late changes, supplement charges may also apply.
Cancellation penalties apply to all guests in a stateroom and are assessed in the event of either partial or full stateroom cancellations. · The system will keep the higher calculated penalty amount when the guest is cancelled. · Cancellation of Air guests may result in an additional penalty for the air portion, up to, but not limited to, the full air add-on amount, as imposed by the air carrier. · Percentage penalty charged applies to cruise fare, non commission fare, air add-on, supplemental fare, cruise only transfers and pre and post cruise packages where applicable. · No refund in the event of interruption or cancellation by guests after the start of the cruise. We strongly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance such as Carnival's Cruise Vacation Protection Plan. · Prior to receipt of final payment and if for any reason accommodations are not available, Carnival may substitute accommodations of the same or better quality on another of Carnival's vessels. · Groups reaching 250 staterooms or more at any time during the booking lifecycle are subject to different terms and conditions - please consult the Charters, Meetings & Incentive dept. · Vacation Protection Plan premiums are non-refundable and non-transferrable. · Any unsold space must be released prior to the full penalty date noted above or cancellation penalties will be assessed. . Fares booked under the Early Saver promotion and subsequently changed to a new rate code will continue to follow the Early Saver terms, conditions, and restrictions.
