The Nomadic Compass is owned and operated by The Breeah Intiative, LLC. We are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", "our", and acronym, "NC" refer to The Nomadic Compass, and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.
Our company policy is to charge a $25 proposal fee for the first 2-3 quotes, for groups of 4 or fewer that are departing from the same city. This fee does not go toward the total cost of the trip, but is for time and labor spent preparing your plans.
For groups with multiple departure cities: We may choose to invoke a $15 service fee per additional departure airport required for your travel group, regardless of the number of travelers. This will be charged at the time of booking.
For groups larger than 4: We may choose to invoke a $10 service fee for every additional person we are coordinating travel plans for. This will be charged at the time of booking.
A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is typically required for NC to reserve a booking for you. Vacation departures, itineraries, and prices are subject to change until the deposit has been paid.
Reservations not Including Flight
If you choose to make a reservation that does not include flight, please note the following are typically not included unless otherwise noted: airfare to and from the start of your vacation; Intra-vacation air unless specified in the itinerary; airline baggage fees including checked and/or excess baggage fees; Federal inspection fees for the Federal U.S. Customs and Immigrations; International Air Transportation tax; agricultural tax; other per person taxes imposed by government entities; airport taxes and fees including the September 11th Security fee up to $11.20 per person, passenger facility charges up to $18 per person, Federal domestic flight segment fees up to $4.00 per segment, and U.S. and International arrival and departure and other government-imposed added by the airline and applicable at time of booking; port taxes; passports; visas and vaccinations; tips to your Tour or Cruise Director, Local Host, driver, Local Guides, and/or ship's crew; gratuities on ferries, trains, and cruise ships; laundry; telephone; minibar; alcohol, beverages, and food outside of the contracted menu as presented at a hotel or restaurant; airport transfers on non-qualifying flights; optional excursions; additional activities and excursions purchased online; porterage at airports and train stations; Travel Protection; and all other items of a personal nature.
Domestic Reservations
NC is an international travel advisor and does not market domestic travel. Kindly note that domestic bookings will require a non-refundable service fee of $25.00 per booking, due at the time of booking.
Travel Protection
Your trip is a significant investment and we recommend the purchase of travel insurance. If you choose to decline this valuable protection, you are assuming any financial loss associated with your travel arrangements. By declining to purchase travel protection you fully understand that your travel agent is neither liable nor responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of cancellation or interruption, medical emergency and/or transportation, lost or stolen baggage and personal effects, flight and travel incident/accident, and/or rental car damage or dispute
NC does not charge any upfront fees unless otherwise stated above and proposal turnaround is typically 1 week from the date you complete your questionnaire. Your proposals will be provided via email. If additional time is needed for research you will be via email prior to the 1 week deadline.
